What's making the Championship so particularly unpredictable this shortened season is that it is shortened imo. Teams playing 3 games a week, in Rotherham's case 4, for about 6 or 7 weeks then having 11 or 12 days off for an International break, isn't going to give us the best football, and many teams are too knackered or too full of reserves to maintain any consistency.
Still in their own hands as they have 2 games in hand over WRDC and 4 points to make up..... but the defeats to Coventry and Brum may well be too dispiriting for them.... On a separate note hope the 2nd fa cup semi-final between saints and Leicester is better than that borefest between city and sw6 fc....
Wycombe win with injury time penalty..... Getting tight at the bottom WRDC P43 Points 43 Rotherham P41 Points 39 Weds P43 Points 39 Wycombe P43 Points 37 Saturdays Fixtures Barnsley v Rotherham Cardiff v Wycombe Derby v Brum Boro v Weds
City ahead at villa 1-2, but down to 10 men after a reckless challenge by Stones. They're so ****ing entitled. Pep ranting at the 4th official, Gundogan grabbing the ref and getting booked and still complaining at half-time. Send more of the twats off.
Villa's Cash, having just been booked, sythes down Foden and gets a second yellow. What a thick twat. Unfortunately, 10 against 10 now.
Reading ballsing up their play off push......now 6 points behind Barnsley and 3 games left...... Crash & Burn.......
Oh Arsenal...assumed they'd be automatically in the Super League of Champions...lose to Everton. How ironic.
