Just after we got Johnson, he said Johnson was capable of going 5 wins on the spin but just as capable o 5 defeats.
Now that has stuck in my mind.

What an abrupt and disappointing drop off given all the ****ing hope we had just a week or so ago.

    Interesting times ahead.

He’s had a truly catastrophic week.
The selections and use of the bench has been appalling.
Needs to get his **** together pronto or we’ll be in this league again next season.

Agree. Didn't want him at the time, never been convinced by him, his arrogance and tinkering has cost us promotion

I like Johnson. Done extremely well to get us where we are.

It looks like we are playoff bound, and we’ve got a good chance.

His arrogance and tinkering gave us a shot at promotion. The drop arse players have cost us promotion. Who else could we have got better than Johnson at the time we got him. Please realistic suggestions only

Well, Poyet was the 1st choice and was all set to sign until he pulled out at the 11th hour
I'm sure Keane would have come back with the right sort of persuasion
Paul Cook would have been a very good appointment

That's just off the top of my head.

I don't care if he "gave us a shot at promotion" his needless tinkering in the last 4 games has cost us. It's all on him

Keane wouldn't have come back unless it was stupid money and Paul Cook would have been worse than Johnson.

Just my opinion like but I dont really blame Johnson he was tinkering with the midfield when we were winning and no one complained. Hes had no options in defence and it's basically just been Wyke up top so i dont really think he has tinkered unnecessarily. Only bizarre 1 for me was Wyke and Stewart up top against Peterborough but I'm presuming that was because the pitch was a ploughed field so wanted to go a bit more route 1.

Still fully behind Johnson. He was the right appointment for the new regime and the new way of running the club. They've only been here five minutes and got us closer to promotion than we ever thought possible under Parkinson.
Can't see how he can be accused of arrogance, which is one of the worst qualities in a human being. I think he comes across as very honest and humble. But, crucially, also very enthusiastic.

When we were winning I'd see the team and think it was bang on, this dodgy run we're on when I've seen the team I've been dubious and I've not been the only one. I think he's got it wrong recently.

Thinks he’s clever. Thinks he’s some master tactician who uses loads of scientific phrases that no one understands. I’m not surprised the players haven’t got a clue what they are doing. If we don’t go up then I’d be giving him the boot in the summer. His tinkering has cost us massively.. oh and not replacing Burge in January.

If you count the Wigan game then that's correct

    Parkinson - 29 points from 13 games (1.77)
    Johnson - 47 points from 27 games (1.74)

I don't think he speaks in 'scientific phrases' at all. He occasionally uses some of the latest buzz words that go through the coaching community (unless we're talking about 'POMO', which is a term Charles Hughes introduced in the 70s) but the players will certainly understand these. In the main, he speaks very honestly and clearly and avoids the usual clichés. He is never as sick as a parrot and we never have a game of two halves.
