Just been on the slumberland board... This is my favourite....and this was two days before they played Blackpool......
Well that might be me then but I believe I listened to most post match interviews last season. Maybe my memories going or maybe I have already made my mind up. Either way what does it matter?
speaking of hartlepool, an ex-tiger scored for them today in a 7-2 away win at wealdstone.(it describes him as a forward but the line-ups show him in defence). https://www.flashscore.co.uk/match/KdeI6kOf/#match-summary/match-summary
Withoutclicking the link was it Nicky Featherstone ? Good prospect in his day with us but never really turned his junior form into senior level standard
Featherstone plays in central midfield for Pools, alongside another ex-Tiger Gavin Holohan (the latter never made a first team appearance). They’ve got a really good chance of getting back into the EFL.
When he was with us he was a forward.. but I suspect he has dropped a bit deeper now .. and Jeff Stelling will be chuffed
Pool were 7-0 up, conceded two in two minutes at the death. Now look favourites to replace the codheads though beating Bolton today was a coupon buster.
it was indeed.they'll be very disappointed that colchester won for only the second time since before xmas.
How are they favourites? I hate to risk the wrath of Chazz by mentioning the dreaded "games in hand" - but when one team is only one point behind another (and has a better goal difference) and has three games in hand, there's a pretty clear favourite there, and it's not the Monkey Hangers.
McCann’s not a very good manager, it’s just a lot easier when you have comfortably the best team in the league.
Think you’ll find it was ulrika and Rik who made the point about games in hand very very well But thanks for the name check
He should have dropped the feather but kept the stone in my view. Saw him for city a couple of times, decent motor, decent larker in his time. Middle L1 at best.
Fair comnent. Dare I say . Points in the bag! Sutton have tricky run in. Sutton vs Hpool on 22 May could be... well....wait for it....massive.
