They're clearly sickened...Let's not kid ourselves, the same **** would've been spouted on here if it was us.
It’s very strange. I always know what he means, but his actual words make no sense whatsoever. Quite a talent.
Gerrard knew he had talent but just too many players in front of him here in glasgow..he said so at the time but their loss our gain ect
he's getting a very very good reputation throughout the championship, his engine being top of absolutely everyone's list. Stevie G definitely wasn't wrong when he said the Doc was the fittest/had the biggest engine out of any player he has ever played with. I think he will be a prem player one day with a little luck
Do think Sunderland's results in last week are just a salutary lesson that it ain't over yet. I must admit I thought they were the most likely of the top 3 in the run in as they had been so hard to beat - only lost 5 in 8 months before last Saturday. Now lost 3 in 8 days, all by the odd goal. So it could still happen to us. I remain cautious!
It does my heart no ****ing good at all watching games like today and Crewe the other week, I'm sure my son thinks I'm going to croak watching City but in all honesty I do not want this season to end! Seeing us at the top of the table and within touching distance of not only promotion but actually winning the league is brilliant. Can't wait for Tuesday and yes I've had a glass or three... UTT.
Yes it would be nice to finish it on Tuesday, Lincoln and charlton away are very difficult. Having said that we really are a very good side that’s full of confidence and I don’t really see us losing all four but like you say Sunderland fans wouldn’t have thought that a week ago so we all know it can happen. Tuesday is another massive night and hopefully we will finish it off. Following city for so long I never take nothing for granted but today’s come back and Sunderland losing has put us in an unbelievable position compared with a couple of weeks ago. Enjoy the run in.
That was a very nervy watch, to say the least. First half we just weren't at the races, I think we missed Honeyman greatly, and Cowley just didn't get into the game. I felt we were trying this long diagonal ball to Wilk's too much, and they were doubling up on him whenever he got the ball, we should have been using KLP much more in the first half, as he looked the most lively. Elder had a difficult first half, but thankfully he did improve in the 2nd. The second half really only came to life for us when Batty scored and was disallowed (he was their best player IMO), that seems to jolt us into action. Docherty was at the heart of it, and he and KLP took the game by the scruff of its neck and drove the team on. As far as the goals are concerned, great ball through for Magennis by Docherty, and Josh took it very well. AS already mentioned, Crowley was largely anonymous throughout the game, but credit to him for the cross for KLP to score. Roll on Tuesday, I just hope George is back because we miss his energy in midfield.
We’ve found consistency at the right time. Looks like we’ll be playing the Blunts next season and FC Massive potentially swopping places with us...Oh what joy. Funny old game innit...
