A very lethargic, uncharacteristic first half performance. To many players look frightened to play there normal game! Is it just a case of nerves and a little bit of psychological effect due to previous results against Fleetwood or are we seeing just how much of a lynchpin GH is for us and the way we play?

Big half time team talk needed from Grant, the players needs to relax and just play our normal game and tempo.

KLP really needs to work on his decision making/ final ball and he really will have the world at his feet

Poor so far, they are winning most of the 2nd balls, Elder looks shaky. Stop the long balls to Wilk's and get KPL into the game more as he has looked the best player going forward.

Very lackadaisical performance, back 4 look nervy, Slater not in it and Crowley gone off the boil. They're missing H'man's energy and drive, just shows how much he ran the midfield.

I'd swap KLP over to the right wing to run at the lad that was booked.

Whenever GH has been missing (as I recall) we haven't performed...

It’s Honeyman missing. Generally his play sets the tempo for the rest to follow. We’ve been lethargic and lacking in direction. Not sure how we change it to improve our second half performance.

As soon as the player got passed Elder, you could see the ball going in the back of the net.
**** goal to give away. Greaves not looking too certain either.
Can’t really say anyone has had a good first half, Coyle, KLP & maybe Magennis have been the best of a bad bunch so far.

On a lighter note, Ferriby are 2-0 up against West Auckland Town in the FA Vase. Win this and they’re four games from Wembley.

Three good chances to pick a man out

I’d get Whyte on and move someone else in to play the Crowley role. He’s been poor in the first half.

Think we need to give the lads the Benefit of the doubt re a poor first half and let them show us 2nd half why we are top of the table.

Think it was on 12 mins when the commentator said it was the second time the ball was in our half. Still the case, problem is that second time has lasted half an hour!

Far to easy for their defence, need more movement up top, Wilks and potter start swapping about, cause problems that was so frustrating

    McCann out :1980_boogie_down:

Sorry I couldn't resist. Can a club change the manager at half time? Ooops too late they are coming back out.

Cheer up all to play for. Wish we had a dirty bossy bastard in midfield to sort them and us out.

I'd put Emmanuel at rb, push Coyle up and Wilks in the middle, Magennis off.

    And he's right to be.
Fleetwood on top toying with City up to h/t.
Patience - in short supply at this time of the season - we need to be patient.
Get a foothold again, get an equaliser. Salvage at least a point which could be crucial.
But we need to be patient.
