Psychologically he’s relaxed in his own vehicle, no danger. plus he was sat with the windows open and there wasn’t a cage in his own car. I guess when you suspect some kind of tension, it increases your anxiety straight away, he was chilling in his own car.

What bothers me is how he straight away seems to get a bit scared, skitty when the cops are being what I would call ‘basic’ in their behaviour. Hands on dash, step out car showing hands etc. Then the ensuing confusion just ends up in the cops ramping it up because their ****ting it that he’s going to pull a shooter out...it’s what I picked up, could be wrong.

He reminds me of Lennie in Of mice and men, the more you asked him to not do something the more he would do it out of sheer panic and emotional breakdown. None of this is a valid reason as to why some pig suffocated Floyd to death tho but something I seem to be picking up when watching the various cam footage through the trial so far .

Good insight and asssessment regarding the psychology of George being in his own vehicle and you are right about the cop car, it is litterally a cage stripped bare, just bare metal seats in the back. Actually if they put me in an environment like that, I'd probably kick-off to.

I think I would also add, that the initial two cops that arrested him, were quite reasonable, they even allowed him to sit on the ground, where he remained calm. This only all got silly, when Chauvin and his other cock piece Tao turned up.

Defence has just chanced its arm and asked for a motion of acquittal at todays hearing. The judge has outright denied this motion.

I don't think they're doing their job if they don't ask. There's no penalty for it, so why not give it a go, even if it's clearly bollocks?

Because they're not the same thing. If you were to go to the home end at Old Trafford, then... no, wait, this isn't going to work, is it?
If I were to go to watch Spurs in one of the home sections, then I wouldn't feel the same as I would going to watch Spurs at Millwall in with their fans.
He was right to feel nervous too, as they killed him.

Yup, they have to do it it appears, so they can go to appeal if Chauvin is convicted. From what i've guaged they've called it earlier than it normally would be, but that's nowt on the face of it, other than following legal process.

Morries Hall has invoked the fifth today to prevent him testifying.

He was made to stand before the judge though and answer some questions, yes or no, not related to evidence.

It appears if Chauvin is found not guilty....then the police can go straight out and arrest Morries because of any evidence he gives, which would be potentially placing himself under the charge of third degree murder.

I've only seen a bit of it, but a forensic pathologist has been on the stand all morning for the defence.

The defence are having a very good day. Discussing George's heart condition and drug taking, so much so he is deeming it to be SIGNIFICANT to GF's death.

This is the first day, the defence have had a good day of this nature, it's being said that he is compelling listening to the Jury.

They've been discussing andrenalin, fight or flight, hypertension, and the impact of all that with the drug taking on a dodgy heart. This is a massive witness for the defence.

OMG the defence's, forensic pathologist is going the route that the police car was still running, when George was on the ground, and is claiming the carbon monoxide from it contributed to George Floyd's death and also explains the effects of it on people with significant heart disease.

I never saw this one coming! @Treble you was right about these fookers.

So their defence is that their actions (leaving the car running) killed him?

Yup, basically along with the heart condition etc. Remember he's only got to convince the jury! Jeez. You need to listen to it bro. <laugh>

Well I was going to say another crazy putting himself in the limelight based on that bollox, but like you said earlier he has the jury hooked with earlier testimony. Now will he have built enough credibility with the jury from his earlier testimony to buy the bullshit he's just delivered? Interesting one.

The more I think about it the more I reckon he's playing it as a series of unfortunate but undeliberate incidents led to Floyd's death. Not guilty.

I assume the prosecution still get to ride this guy yet, so will pick this to bits with some commonsense.

He's suggesting that GF would not have been measured for carbon monoxide or whatever it creates at his autopsy.

Where the prosecution have argued throughout, that Geroge died from being in the prone position, this guy is saying covid patients are put in the prone position to keep them alive.
