Don't think there'll be that many left come the start of next season, regardless of what league.

We've only won 4 on the trot in the league this season, as LJ says, we are not consistent enough. I'm over the disappointment of the last few games and listening to LJ and Wright's post match interviews I'm looking forward to Blackpool and Hull.

I doubt it, most of them had a couple of cracks of getting us promoted so time to say bye and recruit better.

Let’s hope it’s mainly the youngans so we have some sort of platform to build on. We should be over the moon that we have KLD because I don’t think he will be afraid to buy whoever is necessary to get us out of this league. Very exciting times ahead but I can understand why everybody is truly pissed off at the moment

I'm going to start this by saying I really like Lee Johnson. I want him to be our manager next season no matter what division we are in.

When he was appointed he was jokingly referred to as "Streaky Lee" by Bristol City fans and EFL "pundits" on twitter. Apparently at Bristol City he was "famous" for runs of brilliant results followed by runs of poor ones.

Let's just hope that if this is true, the negative streak ends soon and we go back to incredibly positive in time for the play offs.

Keep the faith lads. If he gets us back to how we were playing 4-6 weeks ago, it won't matter if it takes the playoffs.

Here, here! RTB's matchday thread is one of the highlights of this board and is much loved by a lot of the posters on it, who appreciate the time and effort that has gone into compiling it.

If that goes, this board will be a lot poorer without it. Please keep it going RTB.

Thanks, we really need to discuss this again and again (it was covered sufficiently in RTB match-day thread).

Ah sorry I haven't been in the match day thread as I've been avoiding coming on here and social media since the weekend.

Can @Gordon Armstrong or @marcusblackcat delete this if its a topic that has been covered to death?

The last 2 games I’ve voted for us to win and we’ve lost. Am I allowed to go back to my honest opinion in future or will I get accused of being a mag?

Never seen you being accused of being a mag like. Seen you being accused of being an underhanded lying two faced piece of ****, but not of being a mag. When did that happen?

I think one of his comments last night, when prompted they went 14 unbeaten so they can go again, was that they need to be good in all situations. That is a problem for us, we have players who cant do that consistent performance level. It is not surprising that the two who maintain standards generally speaking are McGeady and Leadbitter, because they have been in dressing rooms where it is demanded in their careers. They can repeat the level of performance each game almost automatically. Too many others seem to be hit and miss. For me it is time to look at players you can trust to do the job asked of them, even if they are perhaps not the most exciting. The only thing faulty last night was players standards and failinv to do simple jobs.

Thought that myself last night watching. There seemed to be no fight in the players, no urgency to get the ball back or looking up to see a player in space to pass the ball to. Seemed to be a lot of hit and hope balls played up front. I know Stewart is still finding his feet at the club and at this level but he was too easily pushed off the ball for me. Just seemed to be a lack of pride all round

Did you notice that every time one of our players got the ball he was immediately surrounded by Wigan players who either forced an error or a panic back pass.
When Wigan got the ball they usually had plenty of space and time because we didn’t put them under the same pressure.

I’ve seen us play that way, pressing opposition players as soon as they get the ball and when we play like that we usually get a result.

Maybe they are told to hold back or keep a shape, to conserve energy, I don’t know, but we can’t use the excuse that we’re playing too many games, 2 a week, because it’s the same for all the others. We also have a big squad so it probably suits us more than many clubs with their smaller squads.
