Thought we might as well tag this as the match-day thread - hope you don't mind @Butterfield I wonder, have all the original 3pm fixtures been brought forward? Or have some gone to early evening?
Looking forward to this again. probably going to be just as tough as Sunderland was - home advantage is virtually zero with no crowds, Anyone know if Aneke will be available?
I hope so, as an extra attacking option should we need it. Nigel is having a little reccy this evening
Hopefully a very good time to play Ipswich. Their form is poor at the moment and Paul Cook has ripped into them. I suppose that could go either way but his comments were very demeaning towards their players, although unlike Bow he didn't name individuals. Think he'll probably be moving on after this season, so I reckon the players will not be inclined to react positively. Two for Stockley and one for JFC. They won't breach our mountainous defence which makes it 3-0 I believe. COYR's
Think he's competing with Bow in the "how to demoralise your own team" competition. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/56744904
I don't think this is what the Board had in mind when they hired him! Get this bloke a black polo-neck and a pair of silly specs...
Funny under Bowyer when Morgan didn’t play the natives went ape ... The Smith loan absolutely pointless . Cooke definitely trying to get a rest ion from his players hopefully it’s a negative one. Wish the Ipswich game was 17:30 KO then I’d be home from work oh well never mind .
Seems that all is not well at Ipswich. They haven’t had a new manager bounce like we’ve had. Looks like one of their more experienced players won’t be featuring either.
If we can believe everything coming out of ITFC, the omens are pretty good for tomorrow's lunchtime game. But I always get twitchy when the omens are good. Apparently good news before a game = banana skin. Not saying I don't think we will win. The lads look more determined now under Nigel Adkins. So organisation, application & good team spirit should outweigh luck. I'm just a bit nervous. We have to keep winning. One bad defeat will see our chances of top 6 stripped down to a hair's breadth again.
agreed. We are like a boxer in the eleventh round. We won a few early rounds, lost a few rounds and the score card is tight. A big blow will knock us out. If we box like we have in the last couple of rounds we will win on points.
