Gruelling schedule coming up, away to Huddersfield Tuesday, at Carrow Road Saturday, away to Millwall Wednesday, then home to Brentford the following weekend.Bournemouth seem to be finding form at just the right time - I can very much see us going back up with each of the relegated clubs now.
You trying to reassure yourself Duncan?Bournemouth and Swansea both winning which is worse for Watford than us

Looks like we only need a point from our last 5 games and Bournemouth would need to win all 6You trying to reassure yourself Duncan?![]()

Yes I didSurely you mean Brentford, Dunc - there's no way Bournemouth could catch us. Even if Brentford were to win all 6 games, we would have to lose all 5 of ours for them to catch us. Not very likely.
Christ mate, get a grip!Yes I did
All the other games are 12:30 kick off today for some reason .
We may be promoted before we play this evening.
What does that mean ?The old duke
What does that mean ?
When I lived in London that means haemorrhoids
"Ouch the old duke's are playing up "
Aaaaaaah I see , will you be watching it ?Sorry that wasn’t meant to be quite so cryptic!
The Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral is at 3pm, so they had to change all match times.
Aaaaaaah I see , will you be watching it ?
I'm going to try find a link to one of the games 12:30
Brentford v Millwall
Luton v Watford
Swansea v Wickham
Which one is most interested?
Strange fixtures all 3 look like easy games
Ditto I'm hoping Watford slip up.Probably a bit. I like the DofE, but (I appreciate this might be controversial) I have been horrified by the total takeover of our news by his death. It’s totally unmerited. He deserves coverage, of course, and credit for the good things he undoubtedly worked hard on. But he’s still just an old bloke married to an elderly lady, who by accident of birth got a lot of benefits others haven’t. I’m deeply suspicious of the chest-thumping angle the media are taking, their complete hatred for Harry and Meghan which means I can’t help feeling we aren’t getting both sides of the story (not that I want to hear a word more tbh), and their pusillanimous support for the current Government which means hardly any serious opposition is being mounted despite rampant corruption and bad management, etc. And so I’m just bored of it.
(Rant over - sorry, hopefully doesn’t turn this thread the wrong way... move it to the politics thread if it does!)
Luton is the most interesting for me as it has the potential to open up the second automatic promotion spot.
The top two games could have an element of local derby about them and thus be competitive. I'd go for Luton v Watford.Aaaaaaah I see , will you be watching it ?

Totally agree with that Rob, especially the ott coverage of the Duke's death and funeral (over 100,000 people have complained to the BBC about it). I think the Royal family has an important part to play, but they have gone down in my esteem because of the treatment of Harry and Meghan, especially the courtesan's racist comments about how dark the child might be. There's too much about 'the sun never setting on the British Empire' nostalgia for me. The Duke's comments about 'slitty eyed' orientals and 'bongo bongo land' should also not be brushed under the carpet in the current adulation.Probably a bit.
