It was ****ing heaving in there yesterday evening. When I say 'in there', i mean in the beer garden and at the front. Lots of ****ers I've never seen before. I went at 2 pm first, on my lunch hour and it was pretty busy. I took Kenny at 5.45 pm, looking forward to letting him off his lead for a run round, but no ****ing chance. There was an alsatian puppy in there that had bitten its owner's baby girl twice as well I took him home and came back out, but by 8.20 pm it was getting somewhat Baltic so I went home. There were people there with blankets and dressing gowns I think some trouble was brewing as I left. Will have to find out.
think most places were heaving yesterday from the small bit i saw when out walking the little fooker .
Still lockdown for me, you're mad if you attempt to go anywhere and do anything 'normal' at the moment if you ask me as everywhere will be mental and a horrible experience. Better to leave it for a couple of weeks more and let the idiot springs uncoil first
I think it'll be more than a couple of weeks. Oh, and Mansfield as the highest infection rate in ther country atm (No longer live in the district but on the outskirts, still work in it, as does the Mrs and the eldest school attends a school within the boundaries too)
I fully expect another spike and further lockdowns, tbh - unless the vaccination programme is enough to prevent it. I won't be acting anything like "back to normal" until we really are back to normal. People act like children who have been let out of school, as though the restrictions are just that nasty government spoiling our fun.
Sadly you are right. As per boris has got ahead of himself and has release everything with the job 50% done. Massive spike is inevitable in 2 weeks time
It was much quieter last night, thankfully. Alex got a fire going in the fire-pit so that fended the cold off a little. Nice plate of Bolognese and mash when I got home.
Kenny now has to be on a lead when in the beer garden, as do other dogs. Someone phoned the council at the weekend to complain there were dogs and kids running round. The dogs were being 'petted' by people and spreading covid. Jesus Christ. No point in taking him now. He doesn't settle at home even after a long walk, so he isn't going to sit quietly on his lead in a beer garden. He loves it too.
Didn't know where to post this as no one reads the Cheese thread any longer. Took my daughter's to Scumland for a Chink last Wednesday my youngest revealed she's leaving her mother's house shortly and moving to Anfield, overlooking Stanley Park. Full circle. I'll be meeting her in the Cabbage Hall for cocktails soon
Given you're the primary driver of content for said thread, I'd say it's all on you bruh (note correct placement of apostrophes throughout ) Maybe do a photoshoot with Kenny if most days at der Käse are light news days these days ??
Kenny's one on the 15th. Birthday party at the Cheese on Sunday. One of his sisters and one of his brothers will be there as will mum and dad. It'll be ****ing mayhem
