Grim. Yeah, would Ashley really be doing all this if he expected the club to change hands in the summer?
Eh? They’re a tinpot venture with Andy Murray on the board and a few million quid in the bank. Because our illustrious owner has soured his personal relationship with Nike, Adidas and Puma at the same time as turning Newcastle into an ambition and pleasure free zone, the club don’t get anywhere near enough money for kit deals. Ashley is astonishing that just when you think he can’t be ****ing worse, he always finds a way to prove us wrong.
Ive checked them out, it’s nothing to do with the Reubens. https://pitchbook.com/profiles/company/180720-10#overview
Nah they're mate but they're notoriously anonymous They (Castore) were moved to distance themselves from rumours in Glasgow that Mike Ashley was a shareholder - which would have been disastrous given his unpopularity at Rangers and an on-going replica shirt boycott. "We have investors who like to remain private. Our biggest investor is one of the wealthiest families in the UK,"
They’re rumoured to be a stakeholder, but that’s not been confirmed and they definitely don’t have a controlling interest.
Tell you what chaps. It might not be Fulham we need to worry about. West Brom have won again and are only 2 points behind them with a game in hand.
they are 8 points behind us and with a horrid goal diff so that’s 9 points to make up in 7 games. Realistically they will need to win 5 games from 7 to realistically be in with w shout of staying up.
I think Villa, LFC and West Ham will beat them. Possibly Leeds on the last game as the fans will be allowed in.
I'm trying to get out of Craig Hope what he knows about the club shop. Apparently he has quite a bit of information about it.
