No way Gooch can start. Aye he scored at Wembley but him living off that is not cutting it for me. He has been poor most the season. Get Jones in

I want to see him get more minutes in the tank for the run in, it’s been a bit stop start for him after this recent injury. I don’t think gooch has been consistent enough so I would like to see someone else get a runs of games on that side from the start. I think Jones has a bit about him mate, not sure if hes a championship level player but I think he’ll have an impact on the team from now to the end of the season. Even if you end up being right about him, still a hell of an option from the bench.

I'd love Jones to have a run, play like he can and sign permanently.

Sadly he has long periods where he vanishes or falls over too easily.

IMO he's taken the edge off McGeady which has taken the edge off Wyke ...

... he can be a fabulous asset but I'm not sure he's what we need right now.

I think we will win and people’s hopes will be built up again only to be dashed again on Saturday. 1-3.

Why not put Jones and Hume on to start and then replace them when they start to get tired.
They may only last 30-50 minutes but with 5 subs we can afford to do this.
It’s better than saving them for the last 20 minutes or so when they will still have lots left ‘in the tank’ when the game is over.

Also, we can afford to put Maguire on to see which one shows up, the brilliant one or the missing one.
Again, with 5 subs we can afford to do this. It still leaves 2 more subs for injuries or tactics but it means we get full use of 3 potential match winners rather than just during the last quarter of the game.
Maybe they will even last the whole game.

McFadz had a decent game on Saturday and I would have no problem using him as a sub for McGeady if he gets tired or has an off day.

My hopes are already up, they never get dashed, just dented, and rarely take more than an hour or two to recover.
IMAGINE IF WE WIN ALL OUR REMAINING GAMES!!!

I don’t care who starts. I don’t care what system we play. I don’t care if we have 10% possession and Wigan score own goals. Just win the game. That is literally all that matters. Get ourselves back in the mix after a horrible weekend.

If we'd beaten Charlton they couldn't have complained ...

... sometimes the cards just don't fall your way.

I think Tuesday will be calm, efficient and we'll take the points.
