Really good half. United are rattled and losing discipline. Pity half time came when it did in some ways.

Just fed up with the United-loving commentary. Sickening.

1-0 HT. A relatively uneventful half, for the most part, followed by a flurry of activity.
Two teams putting in a shift, but more focused on not going behind than taking the lead.
We were the better team, despite there not being much in it. They're going to be on the officials now hard. Already are.

Bit of a naff half but I think we’ve just edged it. Getting the goal obviously helps too. Here’s hoping we can go a level up in the second half and not drop back.

 

Even before the goal I thought we were doing quite well. By that I mean, we were competitive rather than getting bossed. It was still dull, and was after the goal too with the main excitement coming from United players getting all aggy. If there's a game where dull is acceptable though it's ones against the big sides and United are 2nd.

Get Lamela on in the second half and really boil some piss.

 

I thought we looked good and purposeful. Apart from their disallowed goal United have done little and the ref has been good IMO.

That would be perfick if he could wind some of them up to provoke a red card!
