We put a couple of good wins together, the above saying comes out in force we lose one game, those same people saying the above are put in force saying I told you so!!

so, how come one swallow doesn’t make a summer, yet one snowflake means the end of the world?

Can’t get my head around it!!

Does anyone remember that time Arsenal went the whole season without losing a game? Of course we all do, because it very rarely happens.
We've lost one game and now LJ is ****, KLD is ****, we're going to be in League 1 forever, oh, and stadiums are never going to reopen. Logical.

I’m guessing it’s because the other swallows around us ate the snowflake <ok>

I find it very difficult to tell the difference between, Swifts, Swallows or House Martins..

Snow, hail and sleet is easier

It's predictable tbh. Posters who are never on the board when we're doing well spring up raging like **** as soon as we lose a game. Immature bellends with nowt better to do with their time, which is a fairly sad way to go about your day.

Yes I think it shows the top of two of them and the middle one its underneath?
Perhaps I just have a bird brain? Or not?

    Also nobody's mentioned Sand Martins

There is of course a positive to the defeat - As I said on an earlier thread, the law of averages dictated an inevitabitity of not winning all the remaining fixtures, especially as we have pinched some recent games and looked a bit dodgy in defence.

However, the positives are that our overall team performances have got us over the line, and, we deserve to be where we are.

.....I don't see any reasons to suggest that this is a concerning blip to our automatic promotion push....and this defeat may prove to be a timely moment to reset, and start the final charge....

My favourites are Sand Martins, delightful little birds.

There was an old sand quarry at Ebchester where we'd go walking as kids and there were dozens of nests dug into the cliff.

    Their aeronautics were incredible.

Yeah I spent a lot of time on the Northumberland coast...they were fast and manoeuvrable...

On the golf course we often hear but cannot see woodpeckers... I think their rat a tat tat is some sort of mating call?

Pessimists often seem not only to enjoy being pessimists, but cant admit they're pessimists, invariably claiming they're 'realists', and some of them -inexplicably- get annoyed when others dont share their doom laden views!

On another note, thank god for auto correct, a godsend for fat fingers.

Win on Tuesday and everyone will be feeling a whole lot better about the situation. Pboro have another easy 3 points on Saturday so we really have to turn up against Blackpool
