SAFC4ever is right Should never have got to 3rd in the first place they will always do this to us, we need changes in the summer Winchester, Scowen etc are not the answer, no play offs please they should have been abolished years ago get in the top 6 in the premier league oh no that would not be fair lol. We win a tin pot cup and that's it wow.

Scowen is awful like, hard to believe he’s played so many games in the championship. Is his contract up in the summer? One I would definitely be glad to see the back of.

They always through the frigging towel in though in this position i go back 40+ years and they are still doing it, draw at peterborough and we are untouchable why play one up front ? this bloke will be out by may and we will have to start all over again. The next 3 games are not winnable but the last 4 are but too late !. I see with nowt to play for in the last 4 get Embleton, Kimp and Diamond in the team, rest McGeady, Gooch etc, we need to sign before the play offs as well.

Trojan horse post. Negative disguised as positive

if you want to write negative stuff then do so blatantly.

Have to register my disappointment with the score, but more so my bitter disappointment with the bile and vitriol expressed on this thread by posters, I will not name them, they know who they are.
For goodness sake, one bad result and out of their holes they crawl, and I notice a lot of them are not by any means regular posters but rather "knockers" with in the main vindictive and spiteful comment.

Get behind the Club, the team or get off the site - there is still everything to play for!

I couldn't agree more mate... I read with disbelief yesterday when it was clear it wasn't going to our day......so what...these things happen. I'm sure we will be at it again very soon and these so called fans will again jump on the bandwagon. No wonder our club is such a difficult place to manage when one bad result is met with this kind of negativity.

I have woken up early today feeling sick and depressed... a win on Tuesday will undoubtedly restore spirits..

Totally agree. Strongest team should be played in every game now. For me, that is a side similar to the one we played against Doncaster, with a 3 man midfield. It isn't a side with O'Brien and Wyke in it. One or t'other.

We had enough chances to win this game so to lose is a kick in the knackers. But from now on if fit Jones and Hume need to start in place of Gooch and Mcfadzean.

I actually thought we play quite well, the Charlton commentators were raving about our high press from the front and outnumbering their left hand side (their weak point apparently) So shows the gaffer is doing his homework.

I’m going to look at this as a ‘positive’ defeat, as it shows we aren’t invincible and sometimes in football you need a wake up call. Looking forward to seeing Bailey back and organising the back four, felt we lacked that bit of communication today, but moving forward I am fully confident we will do the job. We’ve got the ‘overdue defeat’ out the way, now it’s time for the lads to pick themselves up and show us what they’re really made of.

Cold light of day, poor result,we were never going to win every game and we move to Tuesday. I just hope all the new season ticket holders realise it gets like this from time to time. Judging from the online outrage, some will take straight to booing once we're allowed back in the SOL.

Unfortunately we can't get rid of all the obvious Wums and ****ers for some reason. If we can poll our long-list of ignores it will be pretty consistent as to who needs an infinite ignore to take away their oxygen. this guise of 'different opinions', is just bullshit. Disrupting threads is their only meaning in life, the sad & pathetic ****ers

Man City lost at home to 10 man Leeds yesterday and I'll bet there are less 'suicides' than on here.

Some people are so desperate for attention they stoop to posting idiocy on anonymous forums.

Thankfully I'll never have to meet any of them.

(BTW, I notice you're 'home' .... me too, just sorted a great new job in the Cotswolds yesterday.)

You see Marcus I am bothered about how we play, as I think long term it has a bearing on the results we all treasure . Because of this we will have to both understand we will never see eye to eye, and stop questioning each others logic, it will get us nowhere.

So our good form owes to the players. And yesterday’s loss is down to Johnson???

But at this level quality performances are minimal from any team. Being effective is what matters. Charlton were effective yesterday with a helping hand. I watched Chelsea win the PL under Mourinho and they were awful to watch. As results are what matters. I want to see a good performance. But, if we win, performance means nothing to me

Congratulations on your new post, .referring to this one Leeds are a very good team mind, and by showing us just what can be done, as with your posts, are an inspiration to all of us in many ways. <ok>
