January sales

    I know its a while off but our season could potentially hang on our dealings in January.
    With losing Anton and Titus i think a cb should be high on our list of priorities. Bassong at Spurs fits the bill for me. alot of people will say Jonny Evans but i think bassong is as good and would come cheaper, £5m?

    Id be content with ignoring the left back spot till the summer and concentre our time and money elsewhere.

    To our weakest area. We desperately need a striker, we should be scouring the globe now in search of this potential hero. Who is he? Is he in a foreign land, a Demba Cisse or is he closer to home, a Stephen Fletcher?

    Will our American owner follow his compatriot Randy Lerner and break the bank in January to bring in a player that could turn our fortunes around?

    Bruce will be spending and a striker is a must, no excuses this time, everyone knows we need one, Quinn said we could have one, Bruce has been looking for one. If its a Ricardo Fuller type we will all be well pissed off.

    If performances and results don't improve, it may well be who would come?

    Gotta feeling it will be someone like Kevin Doyle (who i don't mind)

    With regard to Doyle i think he just signed a new contract. There are two other strikers at wolves alone that i wouldst mind. ebanks blake and fletcher who i rate higher than Doyle.

    Id love a proper left back but don't think January is the time. we have bardo, Rico, oshea and colback who can play there till next year.

    Get a centre half and a striker in January.

    Then sort the left hand side out in the summer.

    CB = Samba
    LB= Izaguirre
    LW = Kranjcar
    FWD = Pavlyuchenko / Doyle

    we do need to strengthen the side in January with 3players IMO but I can see us going after a couple of loan players, we still can loan one more player from the premier league dont forget

    If I was Brucie I would go for...

    Nedum Onuoha - loan with a view to a permanent deal in the summer, we need another defender and we know all about Nedum and the good job he done at RB and CB last season

    Pappis Demba Cisse - will cost us a canny bit and will arrive after the ACN but he is a natural goalscorer who will get us 15goals guarenteed a season IMO, we need a player like this and reports have it that we are going to go for him this January

    I think we need a left winger aswell so maybe a left winger coming in onloan from overseas (like Muntari last Jan)

    Agree with the Onouha loan shout with a view to buy, hes going nowhere at City.

    The he will have to look at a striker surely either loan to see us out the season and get the man in the summer or buy our main man in January.

    I think that is all we will get in January, pointless buying another 4/5 new players in january as the team is new enough.

    I would sell Cattermole of a £6 million offer came in.

    Krancjar is getting regular football at a club going for the top 4 this season he aint gonna join us. The time to get him was last january.
