It can't be one of the CL demagogues .... that really wouldn't go down well in some circles...... a member of CL no problem but not one of the leaders
Unless this fan's representative is a complete unknown, they will automatically alienate some supporters. No previous, no baggage. That's why people like Ackers or Bexleyboy would not be good choices - or any of us, or any regular poster on any Charlton forum in my view.
This. Honestly, a bit of fan representation may be a good thing, but which fan can really represent the 10-14,000 fans who would rock up to the Valley on a normal saturday to watch us play Fleetwood? A look at the three forums (which in themselves aren't really representative, as most fans don't look at forums anyway) shows a huge disparity of opinions from the manager to the car park pot holes and the number of chips in the food outlets. A fan representative would basically have to be over the moon/completely neutral and thoroughly pi$$ed off about every aspect at the same time to cover all the views of the fan base. Ask the Trust and, as @ForestHillBilly points out, get a manager, a coaching staff and a team to launch us out of tier three in style and everything else becomes background hum.
I wouldn't mind players whose heads don't go down. It's the one thing I can't forgive. We should fight and scrap for every ball, to the final whistle.
