    he played a couple games for under 21s in international and then had the issue at the end of game where he was sent off. Wonder if anything to do with that

    Very much not this. We are about 9th in UEFA coefficient which includes a season of no European football. After this season even getting knocked out by Real Madrid, we will be up to about 3rd or so.

    With the new champions league rules coming in a place or two will be rewarded to teams who don't qualify but have the highest coefficient.

    So getting any points to keep us up there is key.

    I don't see what people think he would do much different.

    I felt he was just as inhibited and playing safe as anyone most of the time.
