I would be concerned if we were not creating opportunities, but we had 3 or 4 really good chances to score in the first half.

We will score in the second half, just a matter of how many.

Wyke has been the problem here. He scores those chances early on this game is over

As it stands we are 45 mins away from being 5 points off second. Thats a big ask to make up the way we are playing

This pattern of average first halves just isn’t stopping and what is worrying is the cleans sheets have slowed down a bit lately. The way scowen and burge should be criticised, wyke should get equal treatment, to miss the level of chances he had is really really poor. Incredibly important 45 coming up and we’ve showed character numerous times in the past so keeping the faith. Jones on at half time for me

    Great game, really open.

We should have scored at least one.

As Danny is saying, Stockley is giving them a good foothold in attack. We can't handle him.

It's going to be really tough from here. Charlton are a big threat on the break.

Must keep our heads and be clinical.

Gooch has done well defensively to be fair. Hardly any of our players covered themselves in glory in that half, ok Gooch has given it away a few times but at least he's trying to make things happen.

Difficult one for him I thought, Scowen on the other hand. Brought back nightmares of Cattermole (I think) in that fa cup game against Everton <doh>

Looking at the O’Brien one their keeper saved. I’m pretty sure they’d have disallowed it. Linesman flagged and they got a free kick. At no other point was a SAFC player anywhere near a defender. So ref and linesman saw that but missed the Blatant block on Wyke fir their goal.

But for a bad miss and a couple of excellent saves we could be 3-1 up
They have played to their strengths and took their chance.
    Unfortunately we have missed ours.
Think a few individuals are underperforming to be honest.
Saying that I think he will change things quite soon

Tough to play well for 90 tbf and I was happy with the performance on Monday too, but we’ve definitely made it tough for ourselves last few weeks. Got to keep hope that we’ve won a few games that have gone similar to this, and charlton are giving us more chances than most.

Agreed. Bounced right in front of Burge. Scowen should’ve been able to clear but mistimed it completely

Get at them sharpish next goal is crucial and we need to score it maybe a change up front or in the formation might help. We could go 3/4/3 might do the trick..
