I just had a panic tonight and can't find my season ticket anywhere. Has anyone lost theirs in a drunken stupper? Does the club replace it for free or does anyone know the charge? Numpty.
The ticket office are meant to charge you £10 for a replacement, however when I lost mine last season and went to the ticket office to request a replacement, they issued me one free of charge.
I lost mine earlier this season, and it cost me £20 for a replacement, but the worst part, you can only get it replaced ONCE! I asked what would happen if I lost it again, and they said that I couldn't get another one, not even a new season ticket as the had stopped being sold! Best advice is DON'T lose it!
How could you be so stupid as to lose such a precious and valuable item. The first thing I would rescue if the house was burning down would be my season ticket and then I would go back in for the lovely Mrs Godders.
I have often 'lost' things only to discover they were where I first looked but are facing the wrong way or covered with something. Don't panic and retrace your movements (if you can remember). If lost, you may discover someone sitting in your seat at SMS, because people are that stupid!
I cant believe that the Ticket Office would legally be permitted to do this!! Charging an "admin fee" for replacement is one thing, but "confiscating/taking away " monies already paid up is something else!!
I think it would be because you could 'lose' you season ticket and give to a mate, he could get in and you could just get another one, for £20 and get him to pay. Do read somewhere that that is the case (pay £20 for a replacement)
With SMS not being full at the moment, it would be possible for 2 people to get in on the same season ticket (original and replacement) and one just hangs around till most fans are seated before taking a spare seat. Could be deliberate or a finder just uses it. Being honest would not have considered it. This would be prevented by the scanning system but I understand that's dear.
Scanning system dear??? Maybe I don't know but MK Dons have got it. Would be easier having a season ticket in your wallet in a credit card form, just scan it as you go through turnstile. At MK there was just one steward stood the other side of the turnstile just monitoring you as you went through.
Thought NC said it was too costly to introduce at the moment, even when they were annoyed with people (hesitate to call them fans) who stopped payment for season tickets.
Perhaps its cheaper to put in from the start..only guessing though. I am surprised that Nicola let people get away without paying..you'd think he would move heaven and earth to prevent it. It made me cross..must have made Nicola's head spin round!
