For me when Reece is fit he goes back into the defence, Alfie to holding midfielder, and Richie a spot of bench warming

I hope McCann keeps A Jones in the Smallwood role. Brings more energy and I think he’s got a better footballing brain.

Agree...... I think Smallwood was a very astute signing, and an experienced head in his role was deffo needed, but his injury came after a couple of average performances, and this coupled with A Jones' performances since have in my opinion strengthened us.

Would think that A Jones is one of the first names on the team sheet at present.

Smallwood hasn’t played for a fair while so with 6 games to go I’d think a bit part player is going to be his norm, on the bench but there in case...

I certainly agree on the Jones suggestions. I think he's been tremendous this season.

GM: We've had Richie Smallwood and Reece Burke back on the grass this week. The game tomorrow will probably come too soon for them but they could be available for next Tuesday.

Ideal timing .. Burke back alongside Greaves and Alfie back into his defensive midield role for the Sunderland game for me.

Why rush to change just for the sake of it? It's not a needed change. We are on a run ATM so I personally would stick as we are till performance/injury make a change needed

It's a great position to be in though, we have the best squad depth I can remember for a number of years

For me if Burke is fit he plays .. simple really.. he is a proper out and out defender .. and while Alfie has done admirably in the centre of defence .. his best performances have been in the midfield defensive role. This bar none will be our hardest game in the run in .. for me you play your best team available.

It we beat Fleetwood and pick up no injuries, we'll almost certainly be unchanged for Sunderland.

Burke will also almost certainly be lacking in match sharpness/fitness and putting him straight back in to, as you say our hardest game of the season would be potentially problematic.

Stay as we are while the run continues, unless forced to change

If we win tomorrow I think he should go with the same side against Sunderland, he should stick with a winning side.

I think it will be a tough game tomorrow, Batty will want to show what he is made of, so we have to go at it from the start. I've gone for the draw in the vote, but hope we can get the win, as that will set things up nicely for Tuesday.

    I fear he's the next Tijani Belaid/Martin Pusic/Dusan Kuciak/David Milinkovic/Norbert Balogh.

If he can't get into our team this season (I know he's injured), the outlook isn't positive for the Championship. Shame because I think there's a player in there, he's a very direct player, but I wouldn't have him in there ahead of Wilks and KLP.

We've only glimpsed him but my first impression was 'not robust enough for English football'.

He's quite squat with a low centre of gravity, which is a good trait for a winger, he just didn't seem to click with the others. His cross for goal against Crewe was a peach, so he obviously has ability.

GM - 'Thomas Mayer is out of his boot and will start working on the grass in the next few weeks'.
