I think you are referring to life in general. Everything is all 'just played inside a little box' (aka your own brain). Nothing is real, including this. In my little box Saints never concede, score three or four goals every match and the fans are back. More coffee might help, but I'd probably just type things faster.
I'm weirdly expecting a good game. Any game vs WBA is rarely good. Any game vs Sam is rarely good. But here, they have to go out to win, whilst we can go out there completely relaxed (albeit with one eye on avoiding injury). I can see three or four goals. Just not sure who to.
I do hope you are right, but the inner Big Fat Sam will also see sitting back with two walls and waiting for the one moment to spring and hit us on the counter as a good plan to win. I vote your way though.
I saw an Osprey at Arne at the weekend It was a long way away and therefore very small Luckily I had some Binos with me to make it bigger I’m taking that as a sign that you are incorrect and Saints are going to win
Quetest Match thread ever? I'm not sure if its dead or just resting? Better say something controversial If we don't win this then will Ralph be sacked so we can bring Sparky in to save us again? The Ralph is currently the 8th longest serving EPL manager and its difficult to see who out of the top 7 (sorry 8) might get the big heave ho in the near future My money's on Woy, but I don't know whether CP are happy with survival or hungry for the desperate top 10 attempt which will undoubtedly result in relegation Those behind him look on far shakier ground e.g. Mourinho, Bruce
The season we were runners up to Liverpool in the old First Division we played Sunderland in a game before a cup semi-final. We should have won but the players were looking after themselves and we were beaten. Had we won that match we would have been champions. So no half hearted performance this time we hope.
Quetest? An exam for Manuel? "I'm not sure if its dead or just resting?" Are you referring to this thread? It's probably just worn out after a long squawk. It is not yet an ex-thread, it hasn't shuffled off its mortal coil, neither is it pushing up the daisies. This is the problem with Monday matches: Everyone is willing and able to provide input, on a Saturday, then the gods from Sky fiddle with the time continuum, and suddenly there are more than 48 hours until kick off, which is a lot of space, and time, to fill.
You really really needed to look after yourself in those days, defenders were often more intent on GBH than actual tackling You could generally get away with at least one free assault before you got a yellow and someone had to virtually die before the red card appeared
We did finish 3 points off them (it was also 3 points for a win by then) but our goal difference was about 13 adrift. As Lawrie Said “We had a great season. We were inches from a miraculous one”
Here's the complete story of it... https://taleoftwohalves.uk/featured/southampton-1983-84-the-dell-boys-nearly-millionaires-part-one https://taleoftwohalves.uk/featured...dell-boys-nearly-became-millionaires-part-two https://taleoftwohalves.uk/featured...ll-boys-nearly-became-millionaires-part-three
Me, neither. Much prefer the good old days with all matches at the same time on a Saturday....meaning that all is clear about the league table before 5 o’clock.
