A very good read and thoroughly enjoyed the amount of info RTB they need to attack to get in the play offs , so i expect open play and a few goals and as RTB lists we are stronger in all departments can't see past a win
Charlton always give us a tough game and tomorrow will be no different. So it's a hard fought 2-1 win to the lads, with Wyke and Jones on the score sheet.
Four points from the last two was a decent return, hopefully six from the next two, equal whatever Peterborough tomorrow and storm into second on Tuesday, maybes posh will slip up tomorrow and we won't, whatever, I feel second place is near.
HA'WWWWAY THE LADS MACKEMS ATTACKEM Well I've voted win as that's what I'm hoping for. But it wouldn't surprise me if we drop points here. Not that I think they are a better team, I don't. It's just reminding me of a time where we were in the hunt, dropped off but then it all fell into place all of a sudden. I have a feeling Peterborough are going to drop a few points before the end and think we will finish strong. Nah, I haven't got a fookin clue like everyone else. All I can do is hope I'd like a nice tidy 2 - 0 please. Thank you.
Didn't mention he 'fell asleep and did not track Pish's midfield runner for their goal. But as he says he has not played that much football in the last year or so. Being match fit is mental focus for 90 + mins as well as physical. As an attacking winger he is playing well, great crosses, dribbles and goals, but he has to defend well also. He can do it and he is probably better than Mcgeady... just stay alert!
A bit harsh given the 3 or 4 fouls on him against the dirty posh - I wouldn't be surprised if he is out injured tomorrow.
https://intothevalley.proboards.com/thread/25847/sunderland-charlton-match-thread-reaction As usual here is my link to the opposition forum page. Most seem realistic and are happy with a draw.
RTG has a podcast with a Charlton fan, the gist of which is they have not had a great season and only have an outside chance of making the play-offs, they have a new manager who is liked and tjey have nowt to lose for the remaining games. So can go at it....!!!!
Due to Nigel Atkins being their manager, I have changed my vote from a draw to win for the lads. Owe these one anyway.
thanks again for a great post RTB, hope LJ picks your team , as I think getting the starting line up right is as important as getting the subs right, he needs to get both correct tomorrow to keep our dreams alive. OaU
They have a few key defenders back by the sounds of it I will go for my gut feeling of another 1-1 If we win this i will be ****ing buzzing going into Tuesday
cheers for that RTB enjoyed it I must say i'm getting to like that lad more and more, not only an excellent player who is getting better every game, but talks like he loves it here just hope he decides he wants to stay, now we have people who care about the club, and with a bit of clout maybe we can convince him to stay
Johnson presser now. Bailey is back training. Denver is fully back and isn't a million miles off being ready for a start Flanno still not training but is progressing on his two injuries (broken foot) and hamstring. Can play through his foot but hamstring not ready Vokins on verge of return - feels absolutely fine but taking precautions with his heart. Has a stress test on Tuesday. Probably a couple of weeks away.
