Maguire needs to start imo, embarrassing he doesn’t get on the bench ahead of the likes of Leadbitter.

  3. Give it up,bonny lad. If you think he should start,or be on the bench, fair enough, argue the point.....but,whatever it is,it certainly isn't embarrassing.
Your attempts to wind everyone up are though.

We are in a horrible run of fixtures it has to be said

    Lincoln
    Oxford
    Pboro

    Recently then

    Charlton
    Hull
    Blackpool x2

If we go up boy we will of deserved it. We seem to have a really tough game every time we play at the minute

Considering they are different types of players doing different jobs. Yeah drop Leadbitter for Maguire and let's see how good he is protecting the back four.

  7. If we're good enough to go up...which we are...we'll work our way through it. Also, don't forget the opposition.....they are thinking " we're doing ok,but,****ing hell....next up is Sunderland!"

Aye. Plenty twists and turns yet mate. Pboro have two pretty easy games coming up. We need to try and match their results in them as best as possible

Which, at this time of the season really heaps the pressure on. They are expected to win and they need to win. Both teams will be desperate and scrapping for a point. I wouldn't have either s a forgone conclusion

I think every team in the division will fear playing us. Charlton are in decent form, but we are the better side. Blackpool away is the only game that I'm worried about, but I think 6 wins from last 8 will take us up.

  12. Agreed. In simple terms, we need to win every match.....if we do,we go up as Champions! If we drop points here and there,as long as the others do too,we still go up.
As you rightly say, plenty of twists to come yet. To be honest, although I'd rather we were 20 points clear at the top,:1980_boogie_down:,it's part of the magic of the game and why we all love it!

This bloke deserves us to go up. Absolutely loved reading this

Kyril has place in the Sun

SWISS billionaire Kyril Louis-Dreyfus is getting his feet under the table at Sunderland.
The Black Cats owner, whose takeover was ratified in February, is the 23-year-old son of the late Swiss-French businessman Robert Louis-Dreyfus who was Marseille’s majority shareholder.

Louis-Dreyfus, who lives with Russian fiancee Alexandra Nowikovsky, has homes in Geneva and the sun-kissed south of France.
But he has moved into a modest bungalow on the grounds of Sunderland’s Academy of Light training ground in Cleadon, to gain a good understanding of the club 24 hours a day.
He is already doing things the right way and sees the important role now played by data analysts.
Louis-Dreyfus is relaxed about whether the promotion chasers get out of League One and will not feel it is a crisis if they miss out.
He sees Sunderland as a big rebuilding job.

You guys have a lot of fans outside League 1 and so many people would love to see Sunderland back in the PL, although do remember that the PL is all about bullshit, image and corporate garbage. You have landed a great owner and it reminds me when Saints had Markus Liebherr buy our club and the good times really started. You could well be in for much the same and I sincerely hope the time comes when you can really hit the highs and enjoy every moment of your success.

All the very best for the rest of the season and beyond.

I don't know if you realise but every team in the division play every other team twice, once home and once away, whoever goes up deserves it over the season. :emoticon-0105-wink:
