Good luck to the Honeymonster, who was, and still is, generally highly regarded by S.A.F.C. fans :emoticon-0105-wink:

He seems to have improved, too, since joining Hull :emoticon-0148-yes:

Well deserved, I just hope we can finish it off and get automatic promotion as if we don't and Sunderland do, I think he will be in for a barrage of abuse from some of our friends at the Stadium of Light.

Well done George <applause><applause><applause> I haven’t seen another player in this league anywhere near as influential.

    Couldn’t agree more.
An irresistible presence on the pitch, leading his team mates by example.
Smallwood might have the armband, but this season the little fella is definitely not far off from being in the ‘Ashbee category’.

I'm not looking forward to seeing this post thrown back in our faces when they win the league and we end up third on the final day of the season :(

One thing I’ve really liked about him is his constant non stop work rate, his delivery from set pieces has been good, his passing and tackling good but even if he has had the odd off game he is everywhere on that pitch and a constant menace to the opposition. In truth I wasn’t over keen when we first signed him but now he’s the first one you want on the team sheet.

Thing I like best about him is he never hides - great game, average game or poor game you always know he's on the pitch, grafting his nads off. This accolade's well deserved and restores a bit of faith in yer average football fan - despite home team allegiances they ALL see what a good larker he is. Well done George Honeyman.

I’ll be the first to admit I thought he was ****e in the championship and couldn’t see a player in him. Glad he’s proved me wrong and seems a good lad, (if we go up) I hope he can make the step up. Good for him he’s getting the credit he deserves, always pleased to be proved wrong when it benefits us!
