Where's the best section for father & son, for a bit of atmosphere but not too much profanity? Don't think I can handle the kids/family zone....
Found out today me dads bought a season ticket for me for next season because of all the covid carry on. Days before the first lockdown I got a class job which then didn’t happen due to covid after I’d already put my notice in and have just about hung on with furlough and then got another class job which is a real family proud thing close to his heart. He’s also bought the bairn one as well. Partly because he’s as excited as he’s been since the 70’s and didn’t want me to miss out and partly so I’ll put up with him booing the ref without complaint for 90 mins and partly so I’ll go and get the pints in on 42 mins can’t ****in wait for next season and feel really lucky to have such family support. I need to pay for his first European away game now in a few years to repay the favour
looking forward to the (possible) home derby next season ! as long as it is about October, might go in the east stand center next season.
So covid passports are going to be a thing after all allowing us back in to the stadium for next season. Wonder about the kids though?
Well come august the crowd will be full of 50+ folk then the rest of us have no chance of having both doses by then.
Plenty of mentalists in the family zone mate. It's not like the clock stand paddock's on free school ticket match day back at Roker.
Probably have to produce a negative test result before getting into the ground mate. By that I mean get one the day before. Temp check at the door etc.I'm glad the world is sorting its self out and this past year has taught all of us that life can change in an instant.I'm a mid 30s key worker and an yet to have my first jab so they would have to do some sort of negative test form, because I'd be fuming if I couldn't get in after having a season ticket for years.
They are also trialling testing before and after. Either way most adults of all ages will have had at least first vaccine by end of july
This is what I can’t get my head around, covid passports are only really viable once everyone has been offered the vaccine.
Got it all sorted now for me and our Michael Just waiting for the cards When will them be delivered @Gordon Armstrong
I know people who haven’t got an online account, have E-mailed the ticket office but haven’t had a phone call? Perhaps they’ve sold the maximum they can? The Davison bloke admitted there’s 0 chance of stadiums being full in August and will be 50% full at best. Perhaps people can’t renew now as they are getting close to that limit? Or maybe they know the stadium can only be 25% or 33% full?
My seats still in South Stand, the bairns is with my dad with the old codgers. I'll probably swap between the two.
Found out last week that I have to renew even though I never cancelled in the first place. Now having trouble as it is not accepting my payment details for some reason. I have emailed the club to try and find out what the problem is. Also my youngest lad finishing uni this year so will be renewing season card via bank of dad.
