The main difference there was we took the lead after 88 mins and still managed to find a way to draw. Don't think it can be compared mentality wise to going a goal down and showing the desire to come back, I think this squad under Johnson are a different animal - the current form table suggests thats the case.

    I know mate, just messing.

The thing is I know it gets to people more, when we're doing well, because there's hope and a greater chance of a knee to the balls.

Going a goal down, twice over Easter, was tough but we came back ....

... under Ross I think we'd have crumbled and managed two points at best, more likely one tbh.

Honestly man. Had to put up with bollocks here all day about how the huge club couldn't beat little old Posh. We needed a 35 year old to get us out of the ****. Twat on the other forum saying we can't keep scoring set piece goals to win us games every week...... I had to remind this particular thick ****er all 3 we scored Friday were from open play.
It's the plucky little woe is me Posh that makes me laugh, they've spent millions on players, more than any other team in this league has, the last couple of seasons.
Sooner we get out of this tinpot crybaby league the better.

Just watched the "highlights" of the match on the Sky Sports website - 1:30 of them attacking, 10 seconds of our goal.

    I noticed that as well.

Omitted the Mcgeady effort first half where he cut inside and it was headed behind, the Wyke deflected effort from the edge of the box, the Mcgeady freekick, the Wyke effort from the edge of the box. Poor.

We failed because our arses fell out during the last 9 games of that season, whereas Barnsley went on a great run.

There's absolutely no sign that our arses are falling out this time around, and the fact we've picked up 4 points from 2 tough games after falling behind in both of them, is proof of that.

Credit to Hull that they are going toe to toe with us, but I think Peterborough will come to rue not beating us yesterday.

In my opinion, the game against Hull is a title decider

They're an unfriendly, insular, arrogant bunch, looking at that board. Not much self awareness. Personally I think it would be hilarious if they slipped up and us and Peterborough went up.

Gotta say, I do find people believing in these "hoodoos" a tad odd. Have you all written off every season until 2037? <laugh>

We're a completely different team than we were that year, with a different manager and different mentality. Regardless of which, we lost the Cup final that year so even the hoodoo should predict promotion for us? Lose Cup final, fail to get promoted. Win cup final, get promoted. See mate, it's written in the stars :emoticon-0171-star::emoticon-0171-star::emoticon-0171-star:

As an aside, if you can't be happy / confident when we're in our current form, after getting a result away to a promotion rival, when can you be? If you refuse to believe we're going to get promoted until it's mathematically guaranteed, you'll spend a hell of a lot of your life stressing about it. Better to just enjoy the good times while they're here, imo!

Was expecting that. I just think we'll end up in the play offs that's all. I could easily just say we'll romp the league and then I'll be class? It's just my opinion, obviously I hope we do go on to piss the league.
That's the trouble, you say anything else and you're just classed as a miserable **** that wants to finish in the play offs. Of course I don't I'm just giving my gut instinct opinion.

After all the shìt over the years it's hardly surprising mate.
And we are all different with differing views.
It'd be boring as fook if not ;)
