I really doubt you are rolling on the floor. And I also doubt you are laughing whilst doing this.

And pretty much all of those are in the Qualifiers. I'm in favour of getting him to Qualify us and let an all out attacking manager take over for the tournaments as this is the way to win it!

I'm sorry but if, as you suggest, it'll take an Englishman to draw passion and commitment from the players, then they are the wrong players for England full stop. They should have passion and commitment from the very start, regardless of who is in charge.

Simple fact is, our players aren't good enough. There are a number of teams now who are better than us, and a select few who are on a totally different level to us. Capello has done ok with what he has, but as soon as we meet a top side, we'll get beat.

He is though. Villa is superb, but so is Rooney. Rooney in the Barca team would probably score more than Villa

Would be a major lack of ambition if they signed for them, especially Van Persie. Apparenty they have to travel 2 hours for every home game as it is too dangerous to live there lol

How is he? Villa has scored 20 or more goals, 10 seasons in a row, that is awesome consistency. Villa is the top scorer of all time for his country. Stop being so bias towards the Englishman and look at it from a fair perspective. Villa is consistently one of the best strikers around, Rooney on the other hand has his good and his bad spells. You've been brainwashed by the media just like loads of other poor sods have, it's a disgrace that some people had the cheek to compare him to Pele. Before the world cup, the media were saying how is as good as Messi and Ronaldo, look how that turned out... Let's face it, he will never be up there with the truly great English Strikers like Shearer, Charlton, Lineker and Greaves.

Definetly. Imagine Arsenal without Van Persie. They would be a mid table team. Not far off that now imo

I haven't been brainwashed by the feckin media. I have seen Rooney, I can give my own opinions and he is awesome. Villa is too. Would say Villa was better, never said he wasn't, but Rooney is definetly up there with the best. If he wasn't you think he would be Man Utd's key player?

Yes, there key player who doesn't give a stuff about the club and played ****e for half of last season. Just because he has started well, does not mean he is a god of football.

You could argue that if they ended up finishing below any team like Newcastle, Stoke, Aston Villa or Fulham that they will be a mid table team.

Didn't say he was a god of football. I can't believe all this Rooney hate though - the lad is world class! I hate it when he does what he did the other night for England, but he is a class player

A class player yes, not a world class player, not until he shows some consistently.

Think they have made more money on transfers than any other club in the country since May 2006 when they left Highbury.
