It's like he ignores what the coaches tell him ffs.

I've seen players improve under Johnson but I think he's beyond help.

I reckon it’s likely O’Nien stays at center back for Saturday but then Wright comes in midweek.

Hopefully Hume left back on sat

Yeah noticed that - there were a few short passes made at times - supposedly put that down to the pitch

He is actually so bad it's funny, he has no good traits and simply cannot pass a ball or mark his man. Hume will improve us and McGeady 10 fold at the perfect time

O'Brien has become the key man imo ...make a

... I've no doubt Johnson appreciates that.

If O'Brien doesn't play we absolutely need Gooch on the pitch.

Wyke is there as a tethered goat who can't make a difference on his own.

I appreciate McFadz isnt the best but we do have a decent record recently and he has been in that team as an ever present. Imagine if LJ puts Hume back in on Saturday and we lose. Highly unlikely I agree but who would shoulder the blame and who would us fans blame?

Not defending the bloke but nor do I like knocking any player who pulls on that shirt. Obviously Hume will retake the shirt and that is good news but us fans knocking players does not help confidence.

completely agree. He was poor today and has in the past been very poor but he’s actually been ok over last couple of month. He’s not as good as Hume but I don’t think there’s any doubt in his effort / application. I have no ill feelings to him.

It’s an extremely tough game. Charlton are a good side away from home and have a decent squad for this level. It’ll be a nervy one, fancy us to just nick a tight game.

Decent attack, poor defence ... conceded almost twice what we have.

I expect we'll play Wyke and AOB with a quicker midfield than today.

I don't rate McFadzean but he didn't do a lot wrong today, he should have been stronger for their goal but he could have been given a free kick. Other than that he was ok.

I do rate Hume but I'm a bit concerned that with him being rusty if he plays LB in a 4 man defence he's well capable of making a mistake. I quite like us playing 3 at the back with attacking wingbacks and that suits both Hume and Power. O'Nien was great today but he was under a lot of pressure and he won't be able to block every shot.

Beat Charlton and Wigan and we WILL achieve what we haven’t and be sat in 2nd. Think we should go for the 3 at the back formation that worked well at Burton and Accrington.
    Burge
    McLaughlin O’Nien Sanderson
    Gooch Power Scowen Hume
    Jones Wyke McGeady

If we play the same as today then

    Burge
    McLaughlin O’Nien Sanderson Hume
    Jones Power Scowen McGeady
    O’Brien Wyke

Pulling O'Nien out of defence will be a tough call tbh although I think he'll do it. Wright organises the defence and it needs it tbh, just a little chaotic at times. These last ditch blocks are exciting but preventable. L1 sides are bound to try to fling in lots of crosses and we need to cut them down as much as possible.

Our full/wing backs or wide central players need to act as a unit.

I'm expecting a tougher game against Charlton than Peterborough. They are on a purple patch as the moment, we played very average against Posh, so unless we come out firing this could be a banana skin. After all the hard work this group of players have put in since LJ arrived, I pray they don't cock it up in the last few games, promotion is there for the taking.

Our two games against Blackpool worry me to be honest - if there are to be banana skins that is where they will likely manifest themselves, hope I am just being paranoid.
