fair enough mate, it was a tight game and the onus was on them imo.

They were the home team and did very little to win the game.

Any away point is decent, against a team above you is very good at this stage of the season.

I was completely happy with the team selection, just don’t think it worked brilliantly. We got a great result and restricted a good team to very little chances, but we didn’t look as dangerous as I’d hoped we would.

I don’t think that means it was a bad selection. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. And at the end of the day a point was a very, very good result.

And you’re damn right we’d have snapped peoples hands off to be in this position a few months ago.

I think I look at it from the perspective of their right back. 4 or 5 times he had far less done than what happened to McFadzean and he got a free kick every time. Agree he should’ve been stronger mind. And if all our opinions were the same this would be a boring place

Our squad depth will see us home imo. First or second I honestly couldn't care but I'm confident we will do it. The gaffer has my backing 100% for his selections.

I thought it was a good performance against a good team, anything less from us and Peterborough would have won the game.

We have drawn a fair few compared to other teams like but to put a positive spin on it; we've failed to win 19 games and picked up 14 points in them while Hull and Posh have both failed to win 17 games but only picked up 7 points. The old adage 'if you can't win, don't lose' may well be what gives us the edge come season's end.

My issue is that I can’t ignore them as I’m a mod. If they broke the rules (please god let that happen) myself and/or Gordon would have to see it and sort it! And I like pointing out the hypocrisy of them!

One final thing - these were two tough games over Easter, and we went behind in both of them. To come away with 4 points is brilliant. That just wouldn’t have happened pre-Johnson.

The draw today continues our positive momentum at the same time as continuing Peterborough’s stagnation. That may seem hypocritical - and maybe it’s rose tinted. But a draw was definitely a better result for us that it was for Peterborough.

As things stand all of our rivals are twice as likely to lose as we are ...

... you could see that, in the minds of the players, in that last 10 minutes.

We have the courage to keep going.

Anyone would've taken 4 points from those games ...

... despite being behind twice I never felt we'd lose.

Got to say, as soon as we scored there was only one team capable of winning, Peterborough looked dead on their feet, That's the difference 5 quality substitutes can make

That's the resilience I was talking about. Previously we didn't have that mental strength and going a goal down meant it was a battle to rescue anything, now you feel confident that we're going to get something out of a game even if we're under the cosh. Add on the strength in depth of the squad and its an intimidating thing for our opposition to think about

Same here, my wife complained about 5 minutes added time and I said I wish there was 20 minutes, I could see only us winning once McGeady scored

That is very true. The idea of bringing three subs on at once, then another just after would have no more occurred to Parkinson than would venturing outdoors without donning a grey jumper. And the subs got us back in it.

I was surprised how Peterborough played in the first half, I was expecting them to come out of the blocks and give it a real go but we seriously controlled that half without really threatening the keeper. I thought the team selection was something to give a go but for me I don't feel that Stewart and Wyke can really play together as they seemed to go for the same ball - there was once the 2 of them were out wide with Wyke on the ball, 1 of them needs to stay in the middle. I suppose better communication comes with more playing time together. And yet again out patched up defence played well (apart from the goal - less said about that!) But the fact that O'Nien (why did the main commentator keep calling him O'Neen?) and Sanderson kept the league's top scorer quiet for the whole game speaks volumes. The subs when they came on changed the game back in our favour, so much so that when we scored, I felt that Peterborough even though they were at home were time wasting a bit. A point away from home can't be a bad result, it goes to show how far we've come as a team and a club in such a short time that I'm slightly disappointed that we didn't win - must be getting a bit gready! :emoticon-0102-bigsm

They were poor until the subs really. You can see why they win at home mind. There are not many pitches as bad as that, and they'll be used to it. It might be any they are ****e away too!

They gave us so much time and space in the first half. I was expecting them to tap out at HT. I honestly thought they we weak as piss and totally bottled it. Considering a 7-0 was in their last couple of games I thought they were a mid table outfit. They didn't strike me as a top 2 side.
