No reason why not rudey. Doubt they would want to do it on firm ground though. My earlier comment was referring to horses who needed to be re-shod
aye , but have you ever seen one win after the re shoeing ? i can’t ever recall one , nass would know if he got his stat app to hand !
I have no idea rudey but what are the chances that a re-shod horse would have won the race in any event? Have you ever seen or heard of a report that a horse didn't win because it was re-shod before the start? How many horses need to be re-shod before the start? All I can say is that if a horse spreads a plate going to the start, it should perform better if it is re-shod. I doubt it would run it wasn't OK to be re-shod
Of real interest that she makes her seasonal debut in a Group 3 tomorrow (1.33) Taken the 20-1 each way with Bet 365
Unlucky not to finish closer than 4th! Got trapped on the rail and it was too late when she got out, yet only beaten 3 lengths.
Number 9 is: Agrimony Irish trained colt who has finished 2nd in both his starts, from a small stable so chances are the horse will be under estimated in the market
Ed Dunlop isn't my favourite trainer but he's had a couple of unraced 3yos make debuts that interested me. The lead one is Mutawaarid, who ran very green but a nice race yesterday. The other, more speculative, is Uraib. Both owned by the Executors of Hamdan.
Number 10 is: McPherson Did not win in two runs as a juvenile, but in good hands as his Trainer Jessica Harrington looks set for another decent flat season
