We have a Goalkeeper who can make world class saves about as often as a full moon will not punch , catch ( if a forward is anywhere near) , come off his line, cannot get down quickly and cost us more points than he saves yet according to the pundits he is class. In midfield we have another starlet who cannot tackle , defends open spaces , 98% of his passes go backwards but again can make a telling pass that look so good because of of the rarity of the occasion. If we can get the sort transfer fees quoted for these two we should snap there hands off and use the cash improve the team to the level where we can realistically achieve our goals including europe. We can reach these targets but we cannot with the likes of these two who imo are mediocre at best and if they move on and make out then best for all concerned Todays game showed them in glowing mediocrity when Zenden came he showed more positive movement than Henderson in the whole game as Gordon he has cost the club six points in the last two games alone GET RID
Is Henderson Steve bruces love child ,that is the only reason after his last three games he was playing today mores after tonights game,don't get me wrong he started the Season quite well,But recently he has been no more than a passenger,he is not at the same level as the 2 new midfielders we have brought in,when we were on top tonight in the first half when we were attacking with pace he was not involved with the moves when he did get involved he slowed our attacks down with sideways and backward passes,he tends always to play the way he is facing,his tackling for a centre midfielder is non existent when he does get one in he gives silly free kicks away ,what happens when cattermole is back ,I know brucie will move him to his supposedly best position out wide right,great he cant go past a player and definitely cant cross a ball, He needs a rest Steve as his letting you,the team and most importantly himself down ,please let him recharge his batteries and come back as good as he was

well said ... and to the OP, yes we know he can play much better, last season he was electric. He hasn't suddenly lost all - he is still a very good player and a hot prospect
Gordon, world class but going through a dicky patch, players do you know. Henderson, still learning but carries a lot on his shoulders right now and could do with a breather, not because he is crap just because he could do with a breather.
