We have bread We have brown ale De Marco predicting a win De Marco telling us to be patient Bruce put out a team with a game plan Joelinton played really well and scoring All this on Easter weekend. Clearly god has taken pity on us. Mira clearly happening.
Definitely won't because the value of the product is pending for what 6 weeks? No way you'd cough up 340 until you know its still worth that. Also no way they announce arbitration is won in case other clubs start letting Fulham win
The last sentence is a point I was thinking about. A takeover of this magnitude could have a lot of impact. However, I don't believe Steve Bruce is solely responsible for the difference from the Brighton debacle and the Spurs draw. It seems telling that Ashley sent some kind of message.
If the rest found out and their seasons were a done thing like man united arsenal and Chelsea for example they'll play the u21s vs Fulham and let them win.. Their managers would be instructed nd they'd do it.
There’s a world of difference between individual clubs not fancying allowing Saudis who’d assisted the pirating of the PL product into the league, and what you’re suggesting there ffs. As if you’re that important that clubs would throw games ffs, get a grip.
They'd play lesser sides for sure.. If their season was run and they had the opportunity to throw one last spanner in the works they will. They've already been actively stopping it. That's why nufc would say **** all even if it was wom right now Inspired by please log in to view this image WHEN Newcastle United’s proposed Saudi Arabia-led takeover collapsed earlier this year, Amanda Staveley was quick to point the finger of blame at some of the Magpies’ Premier League rivals. “The other clubs in the Premier League didn’t want it to happen,” said Staveley, with Liverpool and Tottenham subsequently having been named as the two most vehement opponents to a potentially transformative injection of Middle Eastern money on Tyneside.
Says that gobshite Staveley and what? You seem to think that £50m a year investment is something that’d have them ****ting themselves, it’s peanuts man ffs. You also assume that cash was the reason they objected. But yeah everyone would throw away league places at £2.3m a pop just to stop the tedious Toon takeover. Your head’s disappeared up your arse on this one mate. Sorry.
250 million over 5 years without any players sales a new training ground and investment in the city is a large amount.. And what happens after that? They crank it up again and again. Basically its not uncommon for them to play lesser sides by that time anyway and like I say nufc bring taken over by a company worth 320 billion wasn't something they liked the idea of... You've concluded she's made it up, but I've concluded the opposite based on what has been documented throughout.. Its called evidence. What evidence to the contrary do you have? Basically my point remains... They wouldn't risk telling them other clubs that it will happen if nufc stay up... Thats essentially my point mate
£250m on a player budget over 5 years is £50m a year including wages and agents fees, it’s **** all in the grand scheme of things. Fact. What’s this ‘investment in the city’ stuff all about btw? Are they just going to throw cash at Newcastle city region for the craic? I didn’t say she made it up, I said she’s a gobshite, which she is, and the fact they apparently objected and on what grounds you simply don’t know, you’ve assumed you do. Your point was that managers would be told to throw games to spite Newcastle, which was complete and utter bollocks.
You're assuming it was inclusive of that and who's to say they wouldn't just send 150 in one go and then use the other 100 along with what they take in. The city was to be invested in and its been reported alot and its one reason the fans and city Council were so supportive of the deal Mate they didn't want it and have been determined to stop it, so I will not yield on this. No ****ing way would they'd tip off that bunch of **** houses... Like I say it's not uncommon for clubs that's season is run to play lesser sides and if they needed any extra inclination to do it then a company worth 320 billion taking over an also ran would be sufficient. You're a bright lad Tobes, but I must remind you that you've been wrong on here quite a bit... I was wrong when I said pif were still at the table, I was wrong when I said arbitration was for change of ownership. I have my opinion and I stand by it mate Let's see how of unfolds maybe in wrong maybe you're right
The reality is chaps the takeover in its current state just gets us back to being competitive which is what we want. When I say that I don’t mean too 6 or 4 or anything. Just yearly investment and improvements. To be quite honest the top teams in the PL don’t really need to worry. The investment will be steady to drive the progression. Nothing more. Again this is what we want. This is not a Man City/Chelsea type takeover. But what it does it stops the rot that is Ashley. Tobes is right chaos I can’t see any PL teams throwing games. It just won’t happen when there’s to much at stake.
