That is class, laughing at that as much as I did Power's celebration. Been a fun football day.

    Excellent.
O'Nien's pass to pick out Jones for the equaliser and Wyke's pass for Power were pure class.

Yet the first post you make on the match thread is having a pop at one of the posters rather than being supportive of the lads after a great 3-1 win. And your second post doesn't have any support for the lads either. I can only conclude you are talking complete bollocks, which isn't a first for you.

Surely you are the most boring poster on here?

I think the highlights show what Gooch brings to the team, he doesn't always have the best all round game but he chips in when it counts. As seen in the pizza cup final.

I've only recently noticed how two footed O'Nien is but he's got real quality with both feet and I think it was a left footer out wide to Jones. Burge also seems to be two footed, useful for a keeper when you're playing it out from the back. I think I'd keep him there if/when we go up.

Players are fookin up fir it.
    Brilliant.
I'd take every one into the championship right now and see how they fair.
9 games left, win them all and we've pìssed it,
    :)

Amazing riposte. Did you think it all up on your own?

Three posts in on the match thread and still no support for the lads.

Deffo. Got a bit of fight and nasty to them which has been sorely missing at times, as well as being able to play some good footy. Can't wait for Monday.

One thing about Gooch, I think his downturn in form happened at exactly the same time that his first kid was born. I doubt he's got a team of nannies on the go and anyone who's a parent knows how distracting the little buggers/angels are so I can fully understand if he's struggled on the pitch, I know my job performance didn't improve with the lack of sleep and split priorities.

Just seen the goals. Jones took the absolute piss to set up Gooch. Gooch assist was very nice aswell. Sunderland are a bit like Michael Myers, Hull and Peterborough are trying to run away but everytime they look back, we're just walking behind them.

Think we need proper defenders against them and not makeshift ones, attack wise posh are very good and will need a lot of looking after

Rewatched the game this morning and thought:
    Gooch was superb all game
    Onien was absolute class
Jones and McGeady are just on another planet in terms of standards
    Power is a true captain
McFadzean is quite steady and reliable now
Wyke was great I thought with his running and hustling (played the O'brien role it seemed)

Just watched the recording of Quest this morning, I don't think it's been said previously (apologies if I'm wrong though) but I can't see what Robinson - and his mate Clinton Morrison - kicking off for regarding our second goal. When their player gave the foul away he's on his knees talking to the referee. It's only when we get the ball and prepare for the free kick that he rolls over clutching his leg! He tried to delay it and got caught out. That's what you call karma!

Onien's pass was sensational, it hasn't had the praise it deserves, Jones control and wing demon play was just as good. Just a great goal all round.
