Eeeeeking out a result is brilliant, especially with the results today.... but we could really do with a performance any time soon.... for the players confidence as much as anything..

6 points before the 3 against Lincoln, Fleetwood and Sunderland would be fantastic...

That was a relief - I think Crewe did deserve a point (or even three) but City just managed to grind them down. Great result and a fair performance - I thought our central defenders were key today.

Wouldn’t it be better for one of them to get beat?

Best for Sunderland to win for promotion chances. But best for draw for title chances.

Shirley we’d be four clear of posh if we win and they lose on Monday and they have a game in hand? So a point clear if they win it?

I was working on the basis that a draw is 4 points dropped rather than a win which is 3 - as long as one or them loses or it's a draw I'm happy :emoticon-0148-yes:

I found that nerve-wracking and well done to them for stealing three points. Wilks wasn’t at the races all afternoon, Crewe sussed him out that he always wants to come inside with his left, so with two men on him he was nullified. Then finally despite five Crewe players round him he goes the other way, shoots with his right-foot for once even though utterly feebly, and scores. Well done McCann for keeping him on. Big Tom fluffed his lines once more and both Honeyman and Docherty were below par today, which is unusual.
