Not been there for years, but it used to be a standard saturday routine to go there and Stephenson's next door for some fresh baked bread. Stephenson's was the best bread I recall eating. Unfortunately Frank died and the shop was sold.

I just found a £20 note outside the supermarket and I felt a little bit guilty as I picked it up, so because it’s Good Friday I thought to myself, “What would Jesus do?”.

So I turned it into wine...

We were going to have fish and chips tonight, but having just passed Funky Fish in Brough and seen the queue, I think we'll just finish off Rick's mackerel pate instead.

I’d call that a lucky miss. Some of the worst Fish and Chips I’ve ever had came from there.

I wasn't going to get them from there, it's crap, it's just the queue that I assume will be at all chippies that put me off.

One pound of fresh BC halibut and Saskatchewan potatoes awaiting transformation into a feast and to be accompanied by a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.

I'm (not really) amazed that people bother today, made a nice fish pie for lunch and had left overs for tea

I went yesterday to Papas because...I’m not daft enough to queue on Good Friday!

Patty Chips ‘Tofish’ & mushy peas

It’s what Jesus would have wanted, assuming he was vegan.

    Patty & Chips was good
Tofish was a bit crap and very overpriced.

I’ve got two and a son... daddy handyman to all three. The list of trades I’ve had to learn to work on their properties is ridiculous lol.
    Plumbing
    Plastering
    Carpentry
    Electrics
    Gardening etc.
And of course the one they all want.
Bank manager and taxi rank ....

Went to blue dolfin on Greenwood ave, queue was too long so turned round and went home. Chicken and rice for tea.
