... being looked at. My son lives in Mansfield and has seen him quite a few times. Interesting character, apparently, who's ambitious. Sunderland are among the clubs weighing up a move for Tranmere Rovers’ Otis Khan this summer, sources have exclusively told Football League World. The 25-year-old moved to Prenton Park last summer after leaving Mansfield Town but has enjoyed an excellent season for the League Two club. Khan joined the club on a one-year contract which means that he’s available on a free transfer at the end of the season – something which is attracting plenty of admiring glances from the Championship and League One. FLW understands that this has alerted a number of clubs including Preston North End, Portsmouth and the Black Cats to monitor his progress.
Him and Hume could make quite a double act. He is, according to my son, able to play right wing back and full back which is the kind of versatility Johnson seems to like.
don't really like to comment on players as i rarely take much notice of them unless they have a blinder against us, even when they join i prefer to give them at least my 'standard' 10 games before i make a call...that said, if he has interest from at least three clubs he must have something about him, will he make the step up to the championship though?
If you watch the end of the final Johnson has a very quick word with him, probably acknowledging how well he played. I thought at the time to keep my eye on the potential signing.
Forced a good save out of Burge from a tight angle in the final, he certainly likes go get forward. There was a decent interview with him in the programme for the final.
Do you know what makes a change? That I'm confident that if we do sign him, it's because he fits into LJ and the clubs vision and plans and that we would have done our homework on him. No scatter gun approach No statement signing just to please a few people No last minute panic buying And its great that I believe that
It's wonderful mate. A choice between dozens of also ran clubs and Sunderland .... ... who would you sign for?
No he doesn't he had a feeling Subderland were going to see about paying him off and he wanted to get the lies out there that it was the clubs fault he had sat on his arse for years. Pretend he had ambition to play and put in effort. All for another deal.
