Best memories of strike partnerships I ever had were with Quinn and Phillips and Marco and Gatesy. Yes Bent and Defoe scored memorable goals but for me they never really got close to those other memories. I don't think it was just because of the goals they scored but because of the whole feeling of the goals. Like after the playoff semi against the mags, I wasn't worried about getting a result up there because we had a good away record that year but the set up with Quinn and Phillips was the best I ever witnessed. My favorite game was the one against Chelsea the first year in the Premier. They had real class all over the park and the first 45 minutes we seriously played them off the park - they couldn't touch us. And with a certain Lord Rowell, to score a hat-trick against your local rivals and at their place deserves recognition - he did something that everyone of us would love to do, I wouldn't mind a statue of the penalty outside the SOL somewhere
After that night against Chelsea i don't know if Desailly has nightmares about football, but if he does i guarantee you Niall is in them!
