This was coming for years when ONeill and McCarthy were in charge. Our squad is absolutely abysmal at the moment and man for man is not too different from an ever improving Lux sadly. They had the one quality player on show and that made the difference. We need to be looking long term. Dunno if Kenny is the man but the likes of McCarthy defo aren't. Under McCarthy for example we were very lucky to beat Gibraltar. Hopefully Saturday is the nadir but it is not one bit surprising considering the way football has been run into the ground in this country
A select group of the most vociferous anti-Forster lovelies from behind the Northam goal is being assembled...
Absolutely, I know what you mean , when the fans are allowed back in the stadiums next season , you just know all Fraz has to do is drop a cross or miss kick a back pass.......the boo boys will undoubtedly make their groans heard.
You know what, i think it is. Would love to have seen him play, for me he is the best Striker in the world right now, maybe has been for a few seasons too.
I am perfectly happy for all good players to be temporarily unavailable when playing a team I support. Just the way I roll.
Oh dont get me wrong, if Saints were 5-1 up in the 1st leg of the Champions League v Bayern, his legs could fall off for all I care, wouldn't want him playing. V England though, I'm less fussed.
Uh oh 2 Poland players have tested positive for coronavirus. Bednarek not one of them but that is a concern.
Hopefully Bednarek hasn’t been infected, but should he have to isolate, (is it 10 days?), it would give him the rest I think he needs. I think his decision making has been a little bit off, probably since the Utd away game that mustn’t be mentioned. There have been a few times, in recent games, where he has tried to nip in front of the striker receiving the ball, to nick the ball, only to be turned leaving a big gap. Could be down to tiredness.
With clubs struggling with injuries and lack of access to treatments to treat injuries( because of covid restrictions),last think they need is more games.
You are spot on SR. Even in normal times I would say this is overload. Throw in the disruptive international breaks and season ending tournaments, PL players and coaches won't have any close-season to.themselves and their families
