Will take a small each way chance on Just in A Muddle in the 1.30 Wincanton. Will be having his 3rd race tomorrow for the in-form Christian Williams yard after leaving Gary Moore and with the adding of first time cheekpieces and mark down 5lb an improved display wouldn't surprise me.

No spring chicken this lad but plenty to recommend him for tomorrows modest race.
His last win was in August 2020 over course and distance off a mark of 120. Tomorrow he gets in off 113 and has a 7lb claimer who knows him well doing the steering.
He has run here twice and both visits have produced wins. He looked to be running into a bit of form in his last hurdle race but I think they have waited since then for the ground, track and trip to be right for a touch. In the meantime they have kept him ticking over in a couple of jumpers bumpers on the all weather that would never play to his strengths.
I think he has a very good chance tomorrow with plenty of factors in his favour.

2:00 Wincanton; Danny Kirwan has never lived up to the hype at all. Was talked up as being Nicholls' next star horse before he had even set foot on a racecourse and hasn't delivered at all. Has ran ok in fairness and is rated a good bit above these horses. Although some of these could improve I'm hoping today will be the day for Danny Kirwan after running ok a long way behind Craigneiche at Ascot in January. He's been an absolute cliff horse for me over the years but I think today he could run well. The favourite has beaten some decent horses in the past too but I'm hoping he doesn't progress as well as hoped in this race :p

4:10 Fontwell; Going to have to go against stick here with a horse half his selection's age. Zafar definitely didn't progress as hoped last year, but seemed to be running a bit better at the end of last year, I'm hoping that the AW bumper he ran in was just to get a run into him, and he progresses again. He might be half the age of stick's horse, but he's half the odds too, 6/1 so just a little play here.

3:20 Stratford; I'm hoping that getting back to good ground will get Bannixtown Glory back to winning ways. Was running very well until Christmas when he disappointed a bit, I can see him bouncing back from that race and going very close here. He's against some decent horses, Flemcara's last race had some horses who ran ok in the Pertemps, whereas Rio Quinto might not seem the greatest, but is very lightly raced. Holdbacktheriver was going ok over fences but after 2 bad errors in his last 2 races I'm hoping he's getting this as a run just to get his confidence back and not pushing too hard for the win and Fontley House if running back to his best could be dangerous but I can't see that happening. I'm happy with 11/4 in the hope that he can hold off Flemcara.

I hope so too! I'd advise everyone that I'm in the poorest run I've ever had since Cheltenham, I think I counted maybe 3 winning bets from my last 40 or so... But then again, things have to turn around at some stage! Right?

It's nice to see LITIGATE back running again, today. Did you have a connection to this one?

Only that I tipped it when it won debut, a little bit in love with sibling Indefatigable.

Ahh, normality has resumed after my winner, 2nd again :emoticon-0102-bigsm

A bit like someone here, I was going to put up Midnightreferendum in the next race but decided not to... All I could imagine was re-enacting the scene from Father Ted...

Yeah, I remember you putting it up at the time, I just couldn't remember if you had a stake in one of them.

Indefatigable won me a lot of money that year it won at Cheltenham. I've backed it every time since.

Third at 14/1 and ran a really nice race but as so often happens no fewer than three non runners takes the places available down to two! Bollocks!!!
