But she’s not officially employed by SAFC. As the owner’s partner, technically she has no more right than anyone else “invited” to be there from a legal standpoint
And despite many years more support she wouldn't step aside I doubt the lad who's claiming she has a role, at the club, even knows her name tbh. Wembley's restrictions were water tight, Bristol's seemed to be a shambles. When thousands of us can't see our team it's poor that they seemed to openly flout them.
It’s reasonable to suggest the owner of the club’s other half should be accepted into the ground. Under current Covid rules, supporters like yourself are not entitled to the ground, like you’ve just informed Bristol police. But wait a minute, your not just a supporter, you also (when called upon) assist the club with certain things. Secret things that your not willing to share. Im off to bed. You better stay awake, they club may call upon you at any time
Off to bed, loads of smilies ... ... always translates as 'lost the argument, I'm off'. Until your next pointless rant ....
Draig said: How did the BBQ go - did you get to enlist any new SAFC devotees? Smug in Boots saId: Mrs Smug put the block on it mate, as I expected and so did the lads in the village. We're under lockdown here and have a 6pm to 6am curfew so it was never really a goer, could've been a great day without this stinking pandemic ... .... didn't turn out too bad though
Before I go, I’ll leave you with this... “I've invited half the village, Montlaur 11220, for the match and told them it's the English Cup Final We have loads of booze and a big screen by the pool, plus a BBQ set up. F**k it, I may only ever experience this once in my lifetime Haway the Lads!!!!” Better keep that a secret from the Bristol old bill mate Sweet dreams.
As above you clown ... ... this place is so big we could have the whole village here and still socially distance. Sadly, its not mine.
Ok mate, just didn’t understand what you were getting at I’m with you on how the team are getting results
Not strictly true mate, a fan can go as a guest of the club if he has the required clearance. The fan who set up the crowd funding thing with the cup final tickets was invited by the club, and attended the final at Wembley.
Thats fine mate. But there’s a difference between... being personally invited by the club for raising huge amounts of money for good causes. And a normal fan trying to gain access by any which way or how.
Mag scouts there and others, also the 2 leeches. https://www.sunderlandecho.com/spor...s-behind-the-scenes-at-bristol-rovers-3181159
There's a huge difference. There's also a difference between someone blagging an authorised invite, within the official allocation, and Barton flouting the rules to get his friends and family in. Over the years I've run an official branch from Mansfield as well as a coach to every game, raised money for charities relating to the club, been invited to both grounds and the press box at various grounds. I've been in the boardroom at Roker, not the SOL, and was in the dressing room at West Brom with the players. I was at Newcastle, Chelsea, Luton, etc, when they had away fan bans and have done everything possible to get into grounds without tickets ... ... only ever failed once at Villa when we had thousands locked out. I've sorted tickets, travel and accommodation for hundreds of people and at MK Dons gave someone my last ticket then had to blag my way in 5 minutes before kick off. The club invited me onto the EFL Cup Final Zoom 'watch along' thing. None of that makes me any better than anyone else but it doesn't make me worse than people openly breaking Covid restriction as you say. You just seem to want an argument, not for the first time ... ... and, no doubt, not the last.
Not doubting your support, but as you’ve just described, a supporter is all you are. Which is why you shouldn’t have been trying to attend Wembley, the same reason Barton’s friends and family shouldn’t be attending games, if they are. Your not worse than the people you reported, your the same.
If the club had included me in the official party I'd have gone ... ... no doubt you'll insist you'd have been too responsible and turned them down. There were more people at Bristol than they were entitled to, its an entirely different situation. One is breaking the law, one isn't ... it's that simple.
Of course I would of gone. But I’d have gone knowing I shouldn’t be there. And I certainly wouldn’t contact the police for people doing the exact same thing.
It's not exactly the same thing. I've explained 3 times. One is being in the authorised official party ... ... the other is flouting the law. That's enough.
