A couple of interesting things to note here...

    1) Abeid scoring two stunning goals which will hopefully push him towards making the bench for us.

    2) Airey's first game since coming back from an unsuccessful loan spell.

    3) We had someone play right back who was on trial.

    4) Most amazingly a 14 year old came on for us in goal. This was Andy Woodman's son and apparently he is very promising.

The most insane thing about young Woodman playing at the age of 14 was the fact that York's keeper was none other than Paul Musslewhite. Who is three times older than Woodman!

Always defeating my boys.... Mind you aren't our reserves top of the reserve league? Abeid is looking like a real gem!

I believe they are yes. Apparently Abeid's first goal was amazing. They should put highlights up in the next few days so we can see what it was like!

I think Abeid will play against Blackburn in the Cup, coming on as a late sub.

Don't know. But I think we should get rid to anyone who would take him.

Class. We have some top young players and although I don't expect them all to make the grade, I think a fair few of them will

Hopefully Hooper can carry his form from U 18's into the senior team. Seems like a great prospect. Future's bright for us.

Hooper did well for the reserves last week - Lovenkrands was praising him saying he didn't look out of place alongside the experienced lads - same with Remi Streete

I've always liked Remi Streete. I have high hopes for him, Campbell and Hooper!

Yeah I like them 3 too - Hooper seems a big strong striker who can hold the ball up and score goals, Campbell seems a creative forward and would probably be classed as an attacking midfielder and Streete seems a very quick centre back - or maybe a right back. The futures definetly bright :)

Yeah, played against Bolton as a Sub and had a decent chance to score but for a great tackle apparently.

I think Remi Streete will be one of the most important kids we've got coming through. We're very short of centre backs and he's not looked out of place at CB for the reserves at all, despite his age. He also hates the mackems, thats always a good start.

Hopefully there'll be some highlights of Abeid's goals, but i doubt it.

Airey wasnt exactly unsuccesful on his loan at Hibernian, he was just injured wasnt he? Although, all the buzz as far as strikers are concerned seams to be around Hooper now, especially with Sameobi preferring to be a winger.

How many 'promising' keepers do we have at the club now then?! Wish we had the same luck with forwards. These two 14 and 16 yar olds, Alnwick, Soderberg, Foster, Krul, Eliott, Harper...

The highlights should be on nufctv later on - quite cheap to get and worth it imo. Highlights of games and manager/player interviews. Good crack :)
