i remember saying a couple of weeks afore the cup final that i had a feeling we would all come out of that next fortnight with big smiles on our faces (or words to that effect) ... i am not often right but i am happy i was this time and that is my last of any kind of prediction, getting too tense and i dont want to put the mockers on it.

jones makes a big difference to our play, hope he is back for the final 10

    Your memory is selective.

Gooch provided a vital assist for Stewart, against accrington, last week.

Read through his posts. I think it's more an anti-Sunderland agenda. Nothing positive at all.

You know daft little things which bode well, kind of from a players mentality and team spirit thing.

Loved seeing AOB asked about his celebration, and why he did a shark impression.

‘the gaffer told me to act like a shark on the pitch’

**** banter like that points to a happy dressing room, and one that’s very comfortable with the manager.

Also, I’m upgrading the goal from a shinner to a ‘magnificent piece of improvised finishing’

I’ve no evidence to support this, and don’t even believe it myself, just sounds better.

It was hardly a stress free tap in at Wembley either, great pass and a finish to match. Won us the damn thing.

It doesn't matter how they go in... its still a goal...

IMHO Bristol Rovers had more than matched us with aggression and purpose, but with Mcgeady's corner gently dropping near the penalty spot, O'Brien was unmarked the ball hit some part of his lower leg and bounced into the goal.

A truly great goal, which was significant in that we held position with Peterborough (who won, easily) and caught up with Hull, who drew.

A very important goal as I say, we keep scraping through, whilst not playing that well. Probably keeping our best for for the away games against Posh and Hull.

He's like you, mistaken and biased, although he isn't trying to start arguments and playing the victim.

    'Slated' ffs <doh>

I didn't slate you, I said you were wrong and posted the facts ...

... their results against better teams are poor, very poor.

In all honesty most of the league is better than them hence their position.
