Just worked out that if we draw with both Hull and Posh and the all three teams win every game other than those two we all end up level on points and it comes down to goal difference. So we need to win and if we can win big in games and we can then afford to draw with both of the other two.
There's no terror in going a goal down anymore in my opinion, we have now got better options up front to change tack, since that humongous fatberg jockingly referred to as the G force ( gut and gutless) have vacated the bench.
No harm done ii dont thing Benji would get into our team atm anyway and it might be win win whichever way it goes, I just hope we score first mate and dont have to test my theories too much, as they often blow up in my face.
Wyke or McGeady 1st goal within 5 minutes today. I so so want us to hammer this tw*ts team. Nowt against Rovers just who they are playing for.
In the last 5 matches the top 6 teams have a total of only 13 wins, and 4 of those are ours. So, only 9 wins for 5 teams in 5 games. Less than 2 wins on average in 5 games. And if you drop Hull, the 4 remaining teams have only 5 wins between them in 5 games. Barely 1 win each in 5 games. Let's hope they keep that up.
That's a good point mate, I've been watching the amount of wins per top team, in the past 5 games, and some are really poor. Doncaster, the team to watch apparently, have won one. Peterborough, nailed on to go up, have won one. Lincoln, nailed on to go up, have won none. Through the season every other top six team has lost twice the games we have ... ... and we've had a manager change, full takeover, Cup Final and endless injuries. Johnson has worked wonders tbh.
Confident of goals, a sheet and three points for the lads. Barton to self combust when the Wykester gets his hat trick.
LJ has responded well to everything that's been thrown at him this season. Need to get back to winning ways. I'm backing him to come up with the goods again. A scrappy win will do 2-0 to the lads and keep moving on.
Great day yesterday, football and cricket, LJ once again brilliant in his press interviews, yes every game is significant, but all that really matters now to us is ours , so keep those wheels of fate turning to our advantage to-day lads. Oau.
I have no idea of what the score will be today or who will score. We will win........and I have a really funny feeling we will be awarded a penalty today!!
We've no idea who'll play or in what system or for how long before it's changed ... ... I can't remember the last time we made half time subs or changed systems so early. It's strange but always interesting, sometimes exciting.
No excuse not to win today. They are going to be without six key players https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport.../bristol-rovers-injury-report-updates-5234614
