England possibly paying the price for deciding that the U21s have to mirror the seniors by playing with 3 centre backs.

This team has lots of attacking talent but no reliable goal scorer.
I don't even think it's that, as Nketiah's pretty effective at that level. They created absolutely nothing for him.
No creative player in the middle, a winger at wingback and nobody supporting the striker.
Stupid system and he stuck with it throughout.

Boring, boring Boothroyd.

Dinosaur tactics and got what we deserved in the end.
There's a reason nobody has considered Aidy Boothroyd for a first team post in eight years

Remember his post match interviews at Watford where he was talking about them going down three games into the season? It's almost as if any self-respecting chairman thinks he might not be a great motivator...

So why's he the England U21 coach, when Southgate's demonstrated that it's a route to the national team job?
If the FA can't attract someone better to the job, then they need to piss off and let someone else do it.
I shouldn't be able to pick a better side and spot opposition danger men better than the man getting paid for it.

Don't worry, the bestest player ever who has never had a bad game for England and if he punched someone it's just one of those things that everybody does... has got a goal. Which is why he is in the team. Unless he doesn't score, in which case he isn't in the team to score but to make chances for others.

Aurier scored the opener and got the assist for both of the other goals.
Perhaps he should be taking more of our free-kicks, judging by the third one?

I'm convinced that Robbie Keane could still get into this Republic of Ireland team.
Pretty sure that Niall Quinn could make the bench, too.
****ing awful.
