Even in high heels and a tight skirt he’d create more chances than Shelvey mate :)

There's only 8 games after Tottenham, so realistically your best bet is someone who can come in, get players in their best positions and give the dressing room a lift.. I think Solano would do that with his trumpet, I think the players would respect him more than some taty like wilder and I think the mood around the club would improve over night.

That's my opinion and my pick, but apparently he approached the club a while back and they just ignored him.

    Never mind

    He'd be a major risk.

Though to be honest I would take anyone except for Phil Brown

Failure under Ashley is inevitable. The club has no point under him.

I'm already making preparations to cut football away from my life completely. I've managed to cut the club off almost entirely, but I'm still watching and following the soap opera.

I'm in this until this takeover saga concludes and if it ends up with Ashley still being here and being in the championship or even the premier league for that matter I'm going to cut football out of my life just like I've done with other things that caused me problems in life.

This isn't all piss and wind I'm a man of my word. I'm not going to continue to following a sport in which the league that runs it denied me my golden ticket and I'm not going to allow Mike ashley to ruin my weekends ever again

No matter how hard it is and no matter how far I have to go searching for a new interest I will find it.

I'd rather have no manager than Bruce.
Bruce damages us... no manager would neither damage or enhance.

Steve on gardening leave and Jones in full control to the end of the season.

    That’s what I would do.

    Ditto.

I've thrown it in completely on all forms of football, instead a couple of nights a week, after kids are in bed, I put the Xbox One on. Playing stuff like RDR2, where you can literally spend a few hours pretending to be a cowboy, or Apex, where you just run around trying to kill other players. Takes the mind off any stresses, whereas watching **** like Newcastle just makes you more and more irate, adding pointless stress on top of life's REAL problems!

Being careful how I say it, I understand going through relegation and pain when there is hope or attempts at progress. Sheff U, for example, had a bad season but the fans were happy with Wilder, understood it was a difficult time, but nothing about that club screams "failure" like ours does. WBA is the same, they tried to change to get out of the mess but it was a stupid decision and failed. But they tried. Fulham know they're punching above their weight, but are sticking by an ambitious, smart and honest coach in Parker, which is the right thing to do . All fans of those clubs know their clubs are trying to get better, trying to go somewhere. Further up the league the fans everywhere know their team is trying to get better. They relish a cup every year, they look at 6th and 7th as goals at the start of every season. We don't. So what's the point? 17th is no point at all. I don't see the point, under Ashley, of getting promoted. The club is in a pointless state of absolute purgatory, so I'm like you and giving it up entirely if Ashley remains.

I'd encourage all fans to at least stop offering any financial support to Ashley's club - don't pay for anything he can benefit from. I can actually see a Wimbledon type of situation with this, it's that bad. I mean the whole thing is ****ing madness. It's a club that owes £100m to its own owner - the same owner who uses furlough schemes, employs woefully underqualified people and drives it and its' value into the floor. It's incredible - I don't give a toss if he's a billionaire, the man is a ****ing idiot.

And there we go - took a few sentences to get back to a feeling of pure hate and anger, which simply isn't healthy! Time to head back to the Wild West, I reckons.

Newcastle has been shafted since very shortly after 1066.. Its always been the same and it always will be... The one thing we had was a working man's sport... The advantage of high ticket sales it's gone z the advantage of learning to play in street has been removed by rich kids playing at the David Beckham academy from 4 years old..

An opportunity for Newcastle to compete under new owners and have money invested in the city post covid post brexit was denied

**** this sport... **** this government and **** the premier league.

Do yourself a favour and get down to a local non-league game once it resumes.
