100% nufc next manager. Depressing I think it's even more depressing the fact so many fans want the guy. I hate the **** he's just another ****house.
I'd rather not. As we have had Souness, have Bruce, we might as well go for the hat-trick of managers that usually destroy clubs and appoint Mark Hughes!! Wonder Low, fancies a challenge of working with a different calibre of player after he steps down from his Germany role?
2/1 on Skybet, same as Jones. Why the hate? Seems like a decent guy, not a whiney **** like Warnock. Probably better than Bruce, but not by much, and won't keep us up if he comes in now. Don't see it happening tbh, we're stuck with Wonky Nose for the foreseeable.
There is some bizarre backwards logic in that - Low has had the best players in the world to pick from, everything nice and easy for him... he must fancy a challenge, and a decaying cess pit of a club with ****e players and a moron of an owner will certainly provide that. Low is clearly nailed on for the Toon!
I'm not deluded, but I believe nufc is bigger than another pond life manager that just got sacked my bottom of the league Sheff United.. It's just my opinion of course, so if everyone else is happy good for them.
Apparently we're not bigger than a manager who got sacked by Derby in the championship (McClaren), knackered old has beens who we thought had long since dissappeared (Kinnear, Pardew), a circus clown (Carver), or the current monstrosity masquerading as a manager. In club size terms of course we're bigger than Wilder (this is the club who had Keegan, Robson, Dalglish and Rafa as manager)... However in real terms he's right up our street - ie someone available on the free and who is desperate enough for work that he'll work with Ashley.
Dunno I'm starting to think anything would be an improvement on the current situation. Even a "meh" would be a lift on the current "take the next 6 days off" regime.
Oh I know he's rightuo our street mate that's why I'd bet my house on him replacing Bruce, but I predict another depressing wilder out campaign within 3 months. It's just dross.
The 6 days off things no big deal you can't learn anything new under Bruce in 6 days. We're so bad it might even improve us.
Fixed. I'm with chaos on this, it's an utterly pointless appointment from an utterly pointless club. The fans should make a point of calling EVERY manager the same, non-descript name - Mike Bassett, Patsy, Groucho (one of the stooges), or something. Bruce is a stooge/patsy, so would Wilder be, like Pardew, Kinnear, and every managerial appointment bar Rafa Benitez (before Pouchy moans I'm not lauding Rafa as fantastic, but he's an exception to Ashley's normal process). So whoever it is, will be pointless. Just like we all bemoaned the appointment of Bruce - make no mistake, if it hadn't been Bruce, it would have been someone as equally uninspiring. Fans needs to say, repeatedly, that Ashley is the issue. "BruceOut" is of no consequence, because staying up or going down means nothing. So if we want a club back it all has to be focused on Ashley.
