    I read, this morning, that the delay in Bertrand signing a new 3 year contract is because he wants it to include him becoming part of the coaching team.
    Not supposed to be a deal breaker if denied.

    Been watching the game, Swiss winning 1-0 with a couple mins left. Jankewitz has been quietly excellent, imo. Clever off the ball, reads the game well, explosive dribbling and some really nice passing and link up play. This England team is so bland though, probably the last of them I watch from this tournament.

    I agree Jankewitz looked very comfortable (nice to see him play longer than 79 seconds <laugh>)
    Ref England, bland is exactly the right word,
    Boothroyd's approach seems totally at odds with the talent he's got.

    Obviously is highly thought of, but only has a year left on his deal and by the noises his agent was making about lack of playing time etc seems unlikely to want to sign a new deal
