I was fortunate enough to never have seen Line of Duty until about 15/16 months ago.... I binged on all the earlier series and loved it. This one episode at a time thing is a nightmare
My son in law, who is Scots, took everything including my Laphroaig. The only thing left is the sweet sherry for you know who.
At the age of two I was probably still having trouble holding a spoon, and then there are 2 year olds that can do this. Cuteness overload.
Oh for goodness sake, I watched that to the end to see them hit the golden buzzer for the lad.... tight gits didn’t
Not sure but I think he actually won the competition that year. I loved the bit where he nonchalantly turned his head and looked at his dad, without missing a beat.
I always assumed they are all pre determined as to who is going to win/make the final? I have a friend who is a very good singer. She was talent spotted to go on The Voice, she went to an initial audition in front of some randoms (not the actual judges for the show) and did well enough for them to ask her to appear on the main show. They started asking her about her back story, where she came from etc. She didn't have a particularly interesting one with no real set backs/heartbreak so they told her she could appear on the show, which would be great exposure for her, but she wouldn't get past the first round due to not being interesting enough, which considering the whole point of the show is the judges are judging "blind" and supposedly just on the persons singing voice seemed a bit ****. She didn't bother going on the show in the end.
Banksy’s Game Changer oil painting, that he donated to the NHS that was hanging in the Southampton General (a copy presumably) has been auctioned at Christie’s and raised almost £17 million. The proceeds are to fund community healthcare and wellbeing projects for patients and staff.
Reading this morning that the owners of craft ale business, Brewdog, applied to appear on Dragons Den in 2008, when the company was 2 years old. They wanted investment of £100,000 for a 20% share of the business. They did their appeal in a screen test, and were deemed to be not worthy of investment, so didn’t make it on to the show. That £100,000 investment would now be valued at £360 million!!!
In 1979 my dad was invited to dinner by a bloke looking for investment into the UK expansion of his business. He wanted £10k for a 10% stake. Back then 10 grand was a fair whack of money, as you know (and I mean, not insignificant now). Dad thought he had a good idea, but didn't have the business sense to make it work. And so Bill Gates went elsewhere.
Did you keep any of your crypto currency Laces? I did have 1 bitcoin, but about 2 years ago sold some (total moron) so I was left with 0.25 of one. Forgot about it as went so low a couple of years ago (worth about £300 and I paid over 1k for even that amount) until recently Just wondering if you kept any?
Watched the whole box set...definitely makes you keep pressing the green button. Second series commissioned.
Yep i was gutted that I spend I think about 0.1 bitcoin on a subscription (about £60) ...3 years later that sub cost me £4000......
