I think that's his favoured position though. Him playing at LB for the majority of his games so far is just like Stiepermann's intro to playing for Norwich before he finally got a chance to drop into his favoured role. Still a bit of "who knows" due to Skipp hogging the DM berth but by accounts from people like Pyjamas on Twitter, it sounds like DF and the club are really excited about him.

OK, now I get it. The problem with iFollow is nothing to do with the cost, how much the club get out of it, or the quality and reliability of the stream; it's the lack of pre- and post-match "entertainment". Certainly puts a whole new meaning on "the beautiful game". Do the club realise what's needed to make their in-house service a success, I wonder. Maybe they do; why else build that "hotel" in the corner at Carrow Road? <yikes>

My recollection is that he was more a box to box CM but DF recruited him to play as a 'number 6' as a holding midfielder/pivot more like Skipp plays. As promotion becomes more certain, it would be good for him to get playing time in that role.

The problem is the pricing, Netflix is about £8 month which is nothing and there's going to be content on there if you look .

46 Championship games that most international audiences are not interested in especially inside empty stadiums are not worth that much .

Potentially costing £460 a year if purchased game by game.

The most I would stretch to is about £100 for all Norwich games, I had BT and Sky and barely watched it if anything there is too many games on .
So much so that they move kick off times and play 7 days a week .

I only really want to watch Norwich the product is pretty boring and soulless without the fans inside , watching Cantwell run up to the camera man after scoring instead of a sea of Norwich fans is nowhere near the same .

IF we go up the International Market will have every game and easy to view with a set top box.

£5 a game or £20 month is about right .
The set up in China on IPTV has every Premier league game live from a match choice type set up.

We need to get something close to that for me to shell out my cash .

Paying a tenner to watch on a laptop isn't value for money

If we do get promoted, all the games will be available to stream free of charge.
Mygoaltv.com always have every Premier League game available, as do other sites.
Obviously Championship matches are not always available, but most can be found somewhere.

The experience of watching on a 4k big telly without buffering or pop ups is way way nicer .
Unfortunately we usually end up losing most weeks which kind of takes the shine off it .

It's the price you pay supporting Norwich a season of great wins on an illegal ****ty stream or getting pumped on telly .

I have connected my TV to my main pc.
If you own a modem smart TV, either hard wire, as I have, or wireless.
Most games were of good quality and numerous streams available.
Reminded me of the early satellite days, when you trawled the satellite belt, seeking out the porn sites.
    Happy Days <cheers>

So with Cantwell's call-up to the U21's, and Giannoulis linking up with Greece, Colney is going to be pretty empty this week.

Possible left-at-home XI for the PNE game?

    Nyland
    Mumba Zimmerman Omobamidele Quintilla
    Sorensen Rupp
    Buendia Vrancic Dowell
    Hugill

Suspect some, like Krul should be fresh enough after international duty, and not everyone plays late in the international window.

Keepers don't move about much and he probably won't start

"Norwich City goalkeeper Orjan Nyland has joined up with Norway, as he looks to earn his first international cap since November 2019" (EDP)
Not likely to play any part I guess, but not "stay-at-home" and great for Nyland himself. <ok>

Are goalkeepers considered real footballers? You know, like, are drummers considered real musicians? :emoticon-0112-wonde

Yes, but if that's the position he's being groomed for, I would like to see him in that role for a few games or a few halves at least.

Yep I agree. He should get a chance to do so against PNE, though i'll not be surprised if DF puts him into LB again.
Probably an indicator of whether we are obliged to buy Qunitilla when/if we get promoted is if he starts in place of Giannoulis for the Preston game. If Sorensen returns to LB then I suspect that would be the end of Quintilla's NCFC career.

I see that Canaries former coach Frankie McAvoy will be leading Preston for our game on the 2nd of April.

It's mad that Buendia is the one we're not losing over the international break.

That would certainly be true if Sørensen does start, but DF has said that Quintilla is the other option at LB and Sørensen has returned to midfield. Sørensen covered after Giannoulis was injured, but that was because he was the only option available on the bench. I wonder whether Quintilla might be considered the better option at LB when Hugill is playing, given his crossing and corner taking abilities.

Norwich City goalkeeper Daniel Barden has signed a new contract with the Championship leaders until 2024.

The 20-year-old made his Canaries debut in September and has made four first-team appearances this season.

Wales Under-21 international Barden could see his deal at Carrow Road extended by a further year.

Norwich City defender Ben Gibson will miss the remainder of the season with an ankle ligament injury.
Gibson, on loan from Premier League side Burnley, was forced off in the 83rd minute of the Canaries' 1-1 draw against Blackburn last Saturday.
The 28-year-old former Middlesbrough centre-back has made 29 appearances for Norwich this season.
The club have said Gibson will now undergo surgery before beginning a period of rehabilitation.
Gibson's loan to Norwich is set to expire on 31 May, although the deal will become permanent should City gain promotion to the Premier League.

Bad news for Ben and City.
Let's hope Hanley doesn't get cropped playing for the Jocks
